I don't want any set of fans to go through what we have gone through.

Angie afraid i wish for some of these toxic clubs to suffer, the press also have been toxic over this period of time.

Will Mel send the EFL a writ when this is all over and he has nothing to do with the club, certainly hope so, will be good to see Parry and fit for purpose Ridsdale along with the rest squirm and have to answer the questions which we all have been asking, this cannot be swept under the carpet.

Rooney was one of the biggest champions of Kirchner. He got that wrong.

Circumstances change, and as far as i know the reason Kirchner pulled out as not so far been revealed, can have a guess that he lost heavy with the drop in value of the crypto currency he was involved in, so did Wayne get it wrong with Kirchner.

Wayne may have resigned for the good of the club saving on his wages, and he will not be entiled to compensation.

I was always impressed by Sam Rush in person but in terms of the deals we did, I was extremely disquieted that there was so much overlap between his agency and the club. The question seemed to be "Whose side was he on?" I don't know the answer.

His own, money money, he was the highest paid CEO at that time, and he must have made a fair wedge from the over paid dross he signed from his agency, pray he does not show his face in Derby again.

  5. Imagine the buyer of the club takes on the players contracts, so wishing to rip up the contracts and once again Derby lose out on selling the players is not going to happen, hang on forgot about the EFL and Keogh.

The players could offer to buy out their contracts at a sensible price, here i go again its not going to happen, often wonder why they have contracts for it means nothing to a player, they are like a spoilt child always get their own way.

Over than one really daft moment Tom was solid this season. One of his best in a rams shirt.

agree he has had a good season, but he has had silly yellow cards this season and at the top level the defenders would wind him up pretty quick and he would react, however will never know for he will not be there.

Well done to Wales for getting to the World Cup. Page is staying on till then , so it looks like Tom can kiss goodbye to any chance of playing in it. What will Tom do next season - we won’t find out till he gets his last months wages. He divided opinion with Rams fans, but did score some cracking goals.

How can you trust Tom under pressure, for he appears not to have grown up, reminds me of a child throwing his rattle out of the pram with his stupid bookings and red cards, for the World Cup he would be a liability, any quality defender would have him sent off within the first 10 mins.

  9. Couple of songs for CK

I think this whole thing has more to do with the cult of celebrity than any sensible assessment of whether Rooney has (yet) earnt the accolade.

Get him in the council chamber, have our photos taken with him to show the grandkids, what's not to like?

Cynical you,  only joking, however the council must have been worried over this nightmare, for it as been reported that the club is worth up to a £100 million for the city's trade over a year, whether this is true or not, no football means many job losses and for Mr Pop that means they are not paying tax.

Freedom of the City not intrested whether he his made one or not, if he his then the reconition is worthy for what he has done for the city.

Wayne Rooney has done an incredible job, no doubting that, but that is a huge claim that can never be proven.

It suggests that neither Kirchner, Ashley or any of the other interested parties, would ever been interested had it not been for Rooney, I can't believe that is true.

Think we're getting a little carried away here.

Highly selective choosing only one of the points, has the feel of a Bristol city fan, lol

KC always wanted Wayne to stay on as manager, so when KC walked away in December was it, then when he made his second bid, he was quick to say Wayne was staying on as manager, you are quite right Wayne was never a factor in KC buying the club.

  12. What Wayne as done over the season to keep Derby in business by the fighting spirit and never give up attitude is not only at the football club, the effect of Derby County is throughout Derbyshire, if Derby were no more then the economy in Derby would plunge and many jobs would be gone whether in pubs, cafe's, shops etc.

The council may well have taken note of what Wayne as done and they feel he deserves the reconition for business reasons, not only for football, if Wayne had not stayed then i for one doubt that we would have a club.

Sir Alex Ferguson widely regarded the best manager this country has seen.

Was given the Freedom of Manchester in 2000, 14 years after he arrived at the club.

By which point, he won 6 Premier League Titles, 4 FA Cup’s, 1 League Cup, 1 Champions League.

In fact he’s won 13 of their 20 Premier League/Division 1 titles, needless to say, he’s kind of a big deal around Manchester.

So about Wayne Rooney’s achievements in Derby

Not being mystic meg, would any other manager have stuck with the club when the going got tough, doubt they would.

Wayne handled the pressure from EFL and serious embargo's, he maintained dignity on and off the field looking after players and all the backroom staff, all the way down the chain including the cleaners, he also got the fans and players together in these trying times and you fans who are able to go to the games, say  that it is one of the best seasons they have witnessed, he turned Everton down to stay with Derby, and all the added pressure of the wags court case!

What as he done for Derby hell of a LOT.
