Just listened to his interview, he seemed hungry to prove himself and play first team football. He was impressive against Bradford for me.
He said that he knows Ozzie at the club is that? unless I misheard him for Fozzy?
-
Pleased to get Oduroh over the line. Another right back, Fozzy and another wide man and we will be about there for me.
Any news on what's is holding up Fozzy signing a new contract?

Stearman will never play RB for us. It would be Knight or Mendez-Laing based on who we currently have signed up.
I'm not convinced either of them have the disapline required. Let's hope we get a right back signed up soon.

Based on all the players under contract with us what is our strongest 11?

We need another goalkeeper, a left back, right back, and a couple more forward players with pace preferably out wide.
We certainly have enough CFs in Collins, McGoldrick and Stretton but I agree another pacey wide man would be a welcome addition.

I think full backs are we are short. Maybe three fulls back? Fozzy and Oduroh could be two of them.
Maybe another wide man? a loanee or Glover?
Then we are about there (not taking into account any future departures) as we don't want a bloated sqaud.

I think he was impressive at the weekend and clearly has raw talent. We need a couple of right backs and I can't see why he can't be one of them. He will only get better with experience.
Hopefully we will sign him up and then we can look to add with a more experienced right back too.

David Clowes is the man who has made it all happen !!

Be interesting to see how Collins and McGoldrick are used. Will be start with one or try and play McGoldrick off Collins?

Henry Lawrence (Chelsea) or Kaine Kesler (Villa) on loan could be what we're looking for at RB. Both had a taste of L1 football last season and will be looking for a full season at this level this time round.
Maybe sign a right back on loan and sign up Oduroh on a free? competition and coverage for places without breaking the budget?

Never say never made we still need another one mate due injuries or suspension and cup competions so be able rest players if need be.
My worry is if we have to many centre forwards it won't be good for team spirit, afterall we only play with one. I think two experienced centre forwards with Stretton is a nice balance.

Liked him at Luton and would have liked him a couple of years ago. If we sign him it reinforces that we have some good experience throughout the team. Would love him to be our new focal point A la Steve Howard
agree with posters that say that’s In an ideal world we would also sign a pacy forward too to complete the set
We will have Stretton as the third CF. We don't need anymore.
-
Obviously both will have a massive role but McGoldrick vs Collins who is our first choice CF on paper?
-
Another GK, two RB's, LB, Wide man and CF
That gives me 6. Although I hope Fozzy is the LB (so we could then call it 5 new signings).

Voted for Derby ?

I dont think so I think be over 20k mark before they are done.
That would be amazing if we could sell 20k, but maybe a bit optimistic. If sell around the 15K it would still be impressive.

The core of our team is coming together now. For me resigning Fozzy should be a priority then agreeing a deal for Oduroh.
I think we need another GK, a natural left back (Fozzy I hope), two rights backs (Oduroh), another wide man (Glover?) and another center foward (Collins?).
If Bielik goes then I'd have another CM.
It's a tough balance having enough depth while also avoiding having a bloated sqaud.

Imagine him and Stephens are the two Rosenior said are ‘really close’ to signing.
I'm hoping if we are close to signing two. A right back is one!
I would obviously get behind a move for Collins though. Him and McGoldrick would be ?? in League One.

I've said this before but we shouldn't sell our best young players, especially to bang average championship clubs, unless a stupid offer comes in (it won't) which we have to take. I expect Bird to stay and be a key part of the Derby County rebuild.
Well said. Bird has massive potential, selling him on the cheap we are not only selling one of the best players in the division but selling someone who could be worth even more in a few seasons time.

Thanks for the update. I suppose it is only natural the season ticket sales will drop off after the initial surge.

I wonder how many season tickets have been sold now? it must be pushing the 15k mark.
Kwaku Oduroh - signed 2 year deal
