Just finished watching it all and would recommend every fan doing the same - the youth academy stuff is interesting but the Warne/Pearce bit is excellent.
If even the most hardened anti-Warne fan still has a negative opinion about him and the culture he's building at the club after watching, I'm not sure what else we can do to help you.  I personally hope he oversees the next 5 years of our development.  Might even treat myself to a bobble hat!

Apart from the clubs with parachute payments - well surprise surprise!!! This is precisely why we need the regulator to put these greedy self interested premier league/parachute payment clubs back in their box and stop them creating a closed shop for 23 clubs at the top of the pyramid which is what’s happening. The English Super League!!

Another aspect possibly how the Football Regulator would have dealt with our situation is the establishment of a licencing structure with all clubs, similar to what they have in France and Germany. Any club that is spending far beyond their means or a owner that is mistreating their club (as we currently see with reading) will have their licence downgraded to a provisional (for 3 years) or even in harsher situations maybe even have their licence taken away (the parliament bill states that will be a last resort)
Good examples of the licencing structure in action in the above countries recently have been Kaiserslautern and Bordeaux who were deep financial turmoil after being reckless with spending got relegated to the depths of their respective lower professional divisions and were given a similar provisional licences to get their finances in order and are now on a path to being more sustainably run.
Essentially it creates a more formal lay of the land for owners to say 'you can only spend this amount otherwise there will be trouble!'. I suspect we will see initially lots of clubs downgraded to provisional licences to get their finances in order (outstanding debts, paying taxes etc). The regulator has to be strict and firm from the get go. What will be interesting however is the EFL going to punish clubs themselves if a club downgraded to a provisional licence i.e. points deduction (is there a need?)

I imagine it was like one of them goals where the fans are waiting for a VAR decision.
He punched all of the data into his luck spreadsheet and then had to wait for the results.
Imagine there were absolute scenes when the computer advised that the xG was less than 1 and if the header had taken place against an average opponent on a neutral ground on a windy day it would not have gone in.

TBF Ward is very much like Beckham was.  Get a yard then ping it in, and their left sided players didn't give him much space in the 1st half.  Therefore Warne made the change and Wilson being more of a dribbler was able to get at them a lot more effectively.  His goal came from a corner he himself won by going at their left back.
My point is our head coach identified a problem, and solved it.
I'd love for us to be like the Mac 1 era and blow teams out the water with free flowing, passing football, but let's remember that even Mac 2 failed to recreate that, and had no Plan B.  Here we have a coach who's had Plans A through to H, and some fans still think he's just a PE teacher who just shouts "Hoof it" at every game.  Is he perfect?  No.  Has he made mistakes?  Yes.  Overall is he doing a good job of getting us into a position whereby we could escape this league?  Yes.  Therefore he's well on target to reach the targets his employer set him...

The players changed, the tactics did not...
He admitted in the Radio Derby interview that he got his initial set up wrong, as he wanted to impose the game we'd been playing since the Charlton defeat on them, but that didn't work, so he changed it.  I can imagine that he would've done exactly the same at half time, but Gayle being forced off gave him the opportunity to do it sooner.  And as soon as he did, we were the better side for the rest of the half.
At 0-0 Bolton it was evens, Bolton had the better first 15 of either half but, funnily enough after both their 2 (and only) big chances we were more than a match for them.
We know you don't like Warne as a man, he's not to everyone's tastes, but give him some credit for the job he's done since Shrewsbury.  Or would you rather we lost every game til the end of the season, just to prove your point??

Don’t know why folk engage with this troll (not you Caerphilly ) or the Ap04 one. Doesn’t matter how good your argument is they will come up with more nonsense. Not worth reading or replying to their posts

    Here’s a website with the stats from the game on Saturday as you possibly don’t remember the details;
    https://www.sportinglife.com/football/live/163100/derby-county-vs-bolton-wanderers/stats
They had 6 shots, 3 on target. We had 10 shots, 3 on target.
It says both sides created and missed 1 big chance each.
They had 2 shots off target, we had 4.
They had 1 blocked shot, we had 3.
Our xG for the game was 0.55 theirs was 0.43.
Both teams had 6 corners each.
Now, the big and most important stat, we scored a goal, they didn’t.
We know you don’t like/rate Warne, it’s possible for you to still have that stance and also admit the reality that he got a decent result against a promotion rival, all the evidence is there if you find just the tiniest bit of humility.

Yes, every chance. There's still 3 or 4 members he hasn't annoyed yet but we may have to take the majority view.
A fist fight broke out in the mod room earlier over who gets to do it.
Obviously I won so unless he tells me if he was at the match and describes his goal celebration he'll be gone before brunch time Tuesday.

I have stairs to my right, and the former u12 freebie ST seat for my grandson on my left.  As it's a sole empty seat, in what most see as a naff area (NE Corner, just a staircase away from the family area) it rarely gets nabbed.  All others around us are long term ST's.
I stopped the freebie seat when grandson passed 12, as he wasn't interested enough to pay for it! 😢  He's 18 now!  It's not even been used a dozen times in the past 6 years!
