As already said, he absolutely rinsed Cashin for pace on multiple occasion.
Won’t have pleased Cashin’s agent, at this particular point in time.

Win on Tuesday and we finish the night top of the league, that's guaranteed. There should be no bigger incentive than that.
Don’t get the focus on whether - in January - we are top, second or third when it’s all so close. Keeping in touch, playing well and avoiding too many injuries is what we need

The even more surprising thing for me is the relectsnce to use Ward. Not used in the last 3 games, despite chasing a late winner in the last 2 games. Only 27 minutes over 6 games since being hauled off at half time against Lincoln.
Ward is being punished for his two errors imo. It should not be hard to pick a side that includes him, adding to our energy in midfield, and one that doesn’t expose us to his (perceived) defensive frailties. It makes no sense that we haven’t seen him for weeks

An alternative is that certain contracts were revalued during the acquisition
The club purchase was an acquisition of assets not shares I believe which presumably allows revaluation ?
Rental agreed under the stadium lease between the club and 202 would determine how losses are shared between the two companies

There’s a mile to go in this league. But game after game we look ordinary and lacking consistency and it’ll be hard to win promotion if that doesn’t change.
No Vickers doesn’t look as reliable as a Wildsmith, especially when it comes to owning the box. Would love to know the thinking.

This is it. Was tempted to go with Sibley over Elder but you're right we need to give Elder the gametime to improve. I'd definitely have Fornah on the bench if he's fit though, probably over Robinson?
Get more minutes into Fornah now and imo we’ll benefit towards the end of the season

I'm sure Paul said a couple of signings were close over a week ago.
Don’t believe he did but would love to be proved wrong

A few possible clubs he'll be watching - Mansfield, Carlisle, Wigan, Chesterfield
Maybe DC is the pilot

I wouldn't have dropped him - it just seems an unnecessary risk - some blamed him for the P'boro goals which I thought was very harsh. If that us the standard he's judged by Vickers could have done better with both Burton goals.
Don’t think Vickers takes the blame for the first goal but saving that sort of shot (even with the deflection) is the sort of worldie Wildsmith pulls off every once in a while

Ok, so you didn't see their 2 goals then right? Fair enough. The first one NML was fouled/lost possession in a dangerous area and their player ran at our defence without them engaging. The 2nd was a clearance/pinpoint accurate pass, when we inexplicably had left Elder 1 vs 1 on the halfway line. Probably go down as 2 Hourihane own goals for me Clive. Or maybe Bird.
Yes I saw it all. Bird and Hourihane is a problem and I thought Bird was decent tonight. We beat Burton if we control midfield throughout. Which we should

Aged well
Stand by that. Hourihane should have been taken off shortly after half time. If we’d held the midfield we wouldn’t have conceded He jogs around like president biden on his way to the podium

We have only won 1 of the last 4 at home , but Burton are in the bottom 5 and have a -14 goal difference . Shouldn’t be a problem , they are no Peterborough.
BUT IT’S A DERBY 😰
