  1. For what it’s worth, everyone thought he was poor round me tonight. Several chuckles when he was announced man of the match. Seemed like every touch he had before the goal ended up with the opposition.
  2. Won’t change without personnel changing. And he isn’t dropping Hourihane.
  3. New manager bounce. Manager of the month curse. Sky TV at home. Their cup final. Could go second. Delete as appropriate circa 10pm boys and girls.
  4. Loved his recent interview after signing this deal. Made reference to how much his 2 year old daughter loves Derby and coming to see Rammie. Was really nice.
  5. Don't think their squad care... they just see us as a big scalp, like every team in this league do coming to Pride Park. It's their fans that care. Have to say, I've worked in Burton for 11 years now and met maybe 3 Burton fans who aren't actually just fans of Derby or Villa. They're a rare breed. They remind me of non-league fans where they all know each other and have a certain vibe.
  6. We have them already? Another sprinter? Where?? If Mendez-Laing doesn’t play we are stuck in neutral.
  7. Zero idea, but maybe because it’s so severe they’re thinking about not just retroactive action but future sanctions?
  8. I read something about 16 points based on the likes amount they’ve gone over by. Obviously, that could be way off, but if it is, that would put them on 4 points.
  9. Im not advocating one way or another but zilch in a few months just isn’t true. Agents fees go up, signing on fees definitely go up, and that’s before you get into the increased competition for his signature, which could lead to higher wage demands by the end. Hypothetically, it could be £500k now but total £300k anyway in the summer.
  10. I was being a little facetious based on the old Derby stereotype, and whilst I know the past has no influence on tomorrow, we still need to be on it. Their manager’s first game, their club’s champions league final. We have to be up for it.
  11. I agree there is no chance Clowes would do that, but that’s at odds to what you’ve said.
  12. It’s alright saying £500k is a no brainer but that’s based on what, a Championship transfer window 6 years ago? That could be our entire budget, could even eat into the summer budget for all we know. Without knowing anything about all that, we just have to trust they know what budget we have and what value CBT would have to us.
  13. Sounds like they are just trying to get more money and get more bidders to be honest.
  14. Leicester given a really really soft penalty then moments later had a man sent off when it was really just a yellow. Referee had a shocking five minutes.
  15. £1m?! That's an absolute fortune in this league, don't get many signings for that money unless you're sitting pretty at the top of the league almost certain to go up.
  16. We certainly do need to figure out right back while Nyambe isn't around, as I don't feel playing 352 and having Bradley in gets the best out of us overall. Either give an u21 a chance or cope with Wilson there and play NML and Barkhuizen on the wings. You'd like to think we can cope better at home with an attacking full back, even then, I'd trust Wilson way more than Ward.
  17. The lad has never played winger before in his career. He's 23. He's impacted games positively in nearly every appearance he's made, and has room to keep improving. If that isn't a successful signing, your metrics are way off. Not every signing is first name on the team sheet, prime aged player. We need several more Kane Wilson signings to build this squad for the future.
  18. It's alright, the loss was the Paint Street Pizza Cup game.
