  2. Well, Ovie Ejaria has just left Reading by Mutual Consent. He would be perfect for this. Not sure if there's anything going on behind his release beyond Reading as a club, but other than that...
  3. No real difference, although leaning on the bar is alright - would personally like it sligtly higher for leaning purposes as I'm tall but get why it isn't!
  4. But while it's a club doctor and not an independent physio/doctor, players will always feign injury to help their team. So, the rule is a good one. The extending of time makes sense, but players have waited it out and now realise it's not being implemented as it was at the start of the season. Saturday a prime example, just 1 minute in the first half? That's what it would have been in years gone by, it shouldn't have been this week. They were doing it harshly for about 2 weeks then got bored, and players are back to the time wasting they've always done.
  5. But that would mean teams like Wycombe would have to be honest when they're injured and need treatment or when they're not and just want to waste time... see the reason that isn't the case?
  6. No they don’t. Been to 4 or 5 games in Germany and had no issues. It was a huge problem yesterday. Why do they need to check my ticket at the top of the stairs if they’ve checked it at the bottom? I can’t escape a stairwell. Then the rent-a-stewards they’re using don’t care whatsoever, they’re don’t even actually check. Then they stand in the way on the stairs half way up the stand as well. It’s a whole lot of pomp and circumstance for nothing when the same people stood last game as did yesterday. Nothing changed apart from a railing. Actually felt like we needed to ask permission for a slash. There was noticeably less people going down to the concourse and spending money at half time due to it all. Someone was thrown out by a steward before the game in front of me for arguing about it and tempers flared. Whole thing so avoidable. This wasn’t even a rent-a-steward. He’d seen the fan in question every week for years. Just bonkers.

  8. We couldn’t. Wycombe pushed onto the back 4. Problem is, Wildsmith either couldn’t hit it or didn’t trust the options to dunk it behind them.
  9. Always so confused about Fornah’s usage. He comes in, plays well, the midfield in general works better, then he goes back to the bench and we play worse.
  10. Got literally nothing to do with her being a female. She had refereed us before today and was one of the best we’ve had. No excuse for her poor display today, there’s no sugar coating that, but her gender is irrelevant.
  11. No. We need to make changes accordingly. I believe Collins and Hourihane are both banned after 5 bookings now? I’d have dropped Hourihane anyway after his shocker today anyway.
  12. The mad thing is though is she was phenomenal the last time we had her. Premier League appointment gone to her head. She lost complete respect for me when she allowed Lyle Taylor to ignore her entirely to her face and walk off to the bench when she had ordered him to go the other way. You can’t do that and maintain order in the game.
  13. A word for the stewarding of the safe standing. What a joke that was. Ticket checks at the bottom then the top of the stairs, then some times half way up the stand as well. Caused queues and frustration. Random rent-a-stewards stood in aisles in the way. Felt like we needed to put our hands up for permission to go to the toilet. Ridiculous when essentially there was no more standing than last game. Can’t continue like that
  14. Apart from the bit where it was a massive dive and she’s fell for it, again.
  15. Poor game which had us sinking to their anti-football levels for much of it. Still deserved to win the game though. Too many players with lead in their boots with awful first touches. Hourihane must’ve overran it about 5 times first half alone from awful touch and lack of pace Referee was absolutely horrendous. Multiple bookings for absolutely nothing, adds on 1 minute in the first half, very little other than subs second half and adds on 6 and plays nearly 9. Soft as anything penalty. Allows Lyle Taylor to completely ignore her instructions to go off on the opposite side of the pitch and doesn’t do anything about it. Stopped the game for a faked head injury. Allowed time wasting from the first half. Gave a bounce ball for the ball hitting her but allowed them to set it up as a free kick to put into the box. Premier league? Behave. Absolute joke.
  16. Thought we might as well fire up this thread... Reading set to appoint Chris Wilder as manager.
