  1. Yeah, it's pretty much impossible to tell from the angles we get.

  3. Not watched yet but presume there will be a few angles in this
  4. Unfortunately, Hourihane and Bird are untouchable. Can play s**** for weeks on end and never get hooked. Wasn’t Fornah’s best game, but he was no worse than a handful of others tonight.

    Pro Warne

Radio Derby dissecting Warne’s interview was a bit odd. Dont think he said anything wrong. He is quite right to be frustrated with the performance and continually having to change it mid-game to try and improve the output of the team. He’s also right to be pleased about the run, but understanding that unless we can do better than this it might not be enough over the season. Thought Steele in particular was being overly harsh.
  6. Wilson’s impact was great, but I don’t think he really made that impact until Sibley was on the pitch (unless I was mistaken). Warne himself said Wilson didn’t play great for the first 10 mins or so of the second half.
  7. Sibley changed that game. Played far better when he was introduced. Sage in tatters.
  8. Idiotic tackle. Absolutely brain dead
  9. Take 2 mins over a throw in which no one moves for, Hourihane too slow and gives it them. Sums it up.
  10. Pretty dreadful so far. Forsyth the only out ball and no movement off him. No movement at all in the middle. Hourihane lead in his boots again. Half asleep, pedestrian stuff. Something needs to change or this isn’t going to end well.
  11. He didn’t play well Saturday, but he wasn’t even the worst of the midfielders
  12. Massive game this. I know that’s the obvious statement, but have to put Saturday right ahead of the festive fixtures and some (in theory) tough games. Start fast, score early and open the game up.
  13. Rather he’s fit for Boxing Day. Youd like to think we are going to dominate the ball in this one so having Ward there wouldn’t be the worst thing.
  14. I know some worship him but this is a step too far.
  15. Well that's it, he won't be a shield. Fans will want him gone and be heavily critical of the hierarchy, too. Whereas before, some may have been a little uneasy with some of the scattered recruitment or goings on, but it was ok, because they had Cooper it was overlooked.
  16. Cooper has been the figurehead for the fans. Through everything, he's been the one thing the fans have rallied behind. He's shielded the owner and the higher ups and now he's gone. If Nuno does poorly, it will be open season amongst fans.
  17. And, as painful as it is to say, we'd only really miss Cashin. I'm a Bird fan, but it's hard to deny he doesn't affect games enough and it's rare to come away thinking he was a clear man of the match in a game. For that reason, he can be replaceable if we really need to. Sibley divides opinion on here, but think we can all agree that his usage over the past few years has been sporadic and he's never been a weekly mainstay in the side so it's hard to miss someone like that.
  18. There is no text book, unfortunately. But if you do what you do with thought and love then you won’t be far off. My biggest practical advice would be to agree with your missus that whatever gets said in the darkness of night is forgotten about in the morning. Tiredness and frustration will cause arguments, it’s inevitable, but you have to let it go just as quickly.
  19. This is the way they do it, third time in a row now. Properly classy way of doing business.
  20. Wildsmith, Ward, Nelson, Cashin, Forsyth, Fornah, Bird, Sibley, NML, Barkhuizen, TJJ.
  21. Well, Ovie Ejaria has just left Reading by Mutual Consent. He would be perfect for this. Not sure if there's anything going on behind his release beyond Reading as a club, but other than that...
  22. No real difference, although leaning on the bar is alright - would personally like it sligtly higher for leaning purposes as I'm tall but get why it isn't!
  23. But while it's a club doctor and not an independent physio/doctor, players will always feign injury to help their team. So, the rule is a good one. The extending of time makes sense, but players have waited it out and now realise it's not being implemented as it was at the start of the season. Saturday a prime example, just 1 minute in the first half? That's what it would have been in years gone by, it shouldn't have been this week. They were doing it harshly for about 2 weeks then got bored, and players are back to the time wasting they've always done.
  24. But that would mean teams like Wycombe would have to be honest when they're injured and need treatment or when they're not and just want to waste time... see the reason that isn't the case?
