Eddie got a reaction from May Contain Nuts in Picture where you, and your knee are now.
At the moment, I'm almost immobile - can't even get out into the garden.
Had a terrible reaction to a moisturiser which I have to use, and all the skin on both my legs is sloughing off (think dandruff an inch across - but dandruff that's bloody painful too). Waiting for the steroid cream to take effect now. Last time, it took a month, but then I had cellulitis. This time, at least, there is no infection.
It might explain why I am even grumpier than usual.
The beer situation is reasonably healthy - 30 large bottles of Tripel Karmeleit, 12 bottles of Straffe Quad, 10 bottles of Straffe Tripel, half a dozen Gulden Draaks, 4 dozen German beers (half Oktoberfests, half Doppelbocks), 2 dozen Tynt Meadow, about 100 assorted Belgians in 33 cl bottles and an order each from BIAB and Beers of Europe on the way.
If I pace myself, they might last the weekend.

It's a bit sad that you need a 10% imperial version of Jaipur to get it to taste anything like it used to and not the piss poor excuse for Jaipur you get in supermarkets, but this is excellent.
The TeKu glass is great too, it's just a shame I know I'll probably smash it at some point in the not too distant future!

I'm very partial to the Innis & Gunn Blood Red Sky - again, a bargain at £6 for 4.
The Bacchus Kriek is good too, but like all fruit beers, I think they are better on a hot, sunny day.

It's good in a plastic cup, half-buried in the garden, to get rid of slugs.

I presume that after the bottles of Karmeleit in the first half, you're going to make the pie last from half time until the final whistle.

A few there I've never had, but some utterly wonderful brews in there - especially the Vleteren 12 Oak Aged. I had my last one of those yesterday.  We've got a Gulden Draak Imperial Stout waiting for that first league win, so that'll be around Christmas at the current rate of progress. The Het Nest beers are awesome. If you like stouts (you do, that's obvious) try their "Dead Man's Hand". Blooming exquisite.

I'm hoping to go to Brugge in August, and pay a few visits to the North Sea Beer Festival in Oostende.
    Fingers crossed, of course.
Before then, we have a week booked in Mevagissey, Cornwall, in July - same place we went in 2019 and should have been going to this year.
