I heard they favoured Rimmel or Garnier

It's uncanny that we seem to be in for two players both called Michael Smith.....

Nope, and this is why I've pointed out before that I doubt this is Warne's ideal transfer strategy; brought in to oversee a complete rebuild and hasn't been allowed to buy a player yet...
This would all be fine, except for all the comments in summer about having one of the best budgets in the league. I still can't work out why we'd say something like that when what we've seen is that clubs like Charlton can seemingly outbid us for players...
Sounds like semantics but budget would encompass transfer fees AS WELL AS loan fees and players wages.
Am sure Warne has stated this fact many times in the summer where he said he has a pot of money which covers ALL of the above.
-
I always found the pull of the manager is directly proportional to the wages being offered to sign for them

How did Rosenoir manage to bring in quality players on a similar budget but Warne is having trouble. Maybe it might not be about the money but wanting to play for the right manager
You've posted virtually the exact same comments on a separate thread on a different forum board so obviously you feel your views require wider exposure.

The same grounds as every other employer I suspect.
Which isn't true though.
I have been involved with at least two instances of employees carrying on their normal duties without predujice pending their court cases - both instances were serious allegations, in one case the person was jailed but their job was kept open for them after they returned from their prison sentence.
The workforce was also warned about making any sort of comments to the person on their return as it would be deemed as harassment which is gross misconduct.
This is all in the "real" employment world which football clubs seem to be exempt from.

No chance Warne or the club would touch him

Still not sure on what grounds Sunderland suspended him after he was charged, pending the outcome of his court case.

Luke Littler what a star

I still can't believe how we contrived to stay up on the last game of the season at home against the Wendies.....still can't believe how we managed to get into that situation in the first place either.

I heard Rooney was becoming available very, very soon......

It would be a meltdown, and quite rightly so.
However, there is not a single ounce of evidence to suggest that is going to happen, but don't let that spoil your fun.
Why would I find it amusing?
Au contraire.

Can't wait for the reaction on here when we ship either Cashin/Bird and get no one else into the club

Having an incredible run and people still moan? Would you rather or lose? What’s the point in following football when your teams on the best run for a long time and still not happy?
If you extrapolate our points per game over the last 8 matches to the course of the entire season then we would finish on about 126 points which is unheard of.
And people are moaning that we're "only" 4th after such a fantastic run.
Says more about the posters making these comments than anything else

I’m surprised that he waited until the 87th minute to bring on sonny bradley to (not) sure things up at the back.
I'm surprised that the grammar police haven't picked you up already on your faux pas.
Must be past their bedtime.

Mods please can we close this thread down.
Clearly there is no place on this forum for such appalling grammar, punctuation, spelling and syntax and the great offence and distress it has obviously caused already with some posters.

Can someone help me out with this please, was taken from the BBC Sports website a few minutes ago as part of the Florist fans reaction to Cooper's sacking:-
And appoint a guy in Nuno Espirito Santo who's totally failed in his past two jobs and managed your rivals? Madness.
