Of course.  There's a difference between figuring it out for yourself though and hearing your manager broadcast it to the world.  Managers job is to build those players confidence up surely?

I've not watched the interview because the love-in is all a bit overkill. Let's have our football do the talking and keep expectations managed for now. But I actually don't mind what you say about Warne being a bit of a bully on the touchline and players being on the edge of legitimacy. Too often we are bullied as a team and not streetwise enough, hence we seem to have so many decisions go against us. I get many people won't like it, but as well as playing good football I'd like us to toughen up a bit. I do think this is partly what's needed to win promotion over a long season. Anything to gain an advantage as this will be a long hard slog.

Love how Rosenior gets hammered for the lack of away goals.  How many chances did the team he put together create?  Really not his fault that Collins, Knight, Barkhuizen and the rest all missed chances they should've put away.  Think really fine margins have costs Derby points away from home and ultimately Rosenior the managers job.

And Rowettball isn't very often successful.  We were never going up that season.  The football was terrible to watch and noone seriously thought we would get promoted.  
It's fair enough to adopt that style when you are one of the minnows in the league with limited resources. We weren't in that position.  We had thrown money at it left right and centre.

The problem with Rowettball is watching your team sit back and let say a team like Morcombe dominate possession whilst you hope to score against them on the counter.  Given the resources of the two clubs most would find that approach unacceptable.  I definitely would irrespective of the results.

No I wouldn't.  Nobody suggested they are the only two options available.

Can't really argue with that.  LR's team were a work in progress and DC probably can't afford to sit back and wait while LR learns on the job.

Disappointing decision for me.  I'm not sure that we'd have been promoted under LR but I'm not sure we will be promoted under the new man either and LR would at least have tried to do it with class and dignity.  After the MM years this would've been enough for me.
