To me, this a sad indictment of what has happened to our game. How any football fan could see that incident and say it was worthy of a red card is beyond me. 40 years ago it would probably not have even got you a talking to from the ref.

I'm up at around 85 clubs visited, although I'd guess 10 of these are no longer in the league. Probably done around 100 different grounds when taking into accounts teams that have moved grounds.

Are group games not competitive games then? It doesn't matter who we beat, it will never be good enough for the people sat there waiting to say how rubbish we are the moment we lose a game. Who are the 'contenders' that Croatia and Belgium have beaten? And why is it crazy? They are 2 decent footballing nations.

Anything about it taking a while for strikers to start scoring goals though?

Holland 1996 Argentina 2002 We've also beaten plenty of good South American and African teams in that time but because they aren't Brazil, Germany or Italy, people just assume they can't be good teams.

I asked someone beating the Tomori drum how many times he has actually seen him play. They said in his last 6 games since he returned from injury and he had been brilliant in all of the matches. Went away to look how he had done, to find out he has only played in 5 matches since his return. 9 minutes in the first match, 45 in the next 2, 63 in the 4th and 82 in the last game 😂

Tomori has played 156 minutes in the last 3 months.
