In my first 35 years of watching football I think I can remember one incident of a points deduction where it didn't relate to on the field matters (Swindon). These days it's 4 or 5 a season. Look at the situation with Everton and Forest. 4 games left and not knowing if there will be more points deducted. Absolutely ridiculous. Well done to everyone who stuck by Paul Warne. Especially, well done and thank you to David Clowes who held his nerve when it probably could have been easy to give in to the noisy minority. The records we have broken this season will remain for a long time and days like yesterday don't come around too often. Warne has more than earned his shot at Championship football next season.
