You could add in - most points accumulated in a season, most away wins in a season, best goal difference, but I still think you'd be wasting your time. Once again, as per your last reply, not sure why you are apologising? As you say this is a forum for for opinions and I think it's quite acceptable to challenge/have your own opinions challenged. I don't think I've said anything out of turn or abusive to you and, if I did, I'd have no problem with you pointing it out to me. As for receiving pelters since last Saturday, once again, as long as there were no personal insults, I think you fully deserved them for what you posted. It was not an opinion that you gave, just a crass insult about two of our players and our manager. I'd suggest that if you're going to take the hump when you get called out on posts like that, it may be a good idea to consider what you post more carefully in the future rather than what people do and don't find acceptable. As I said in my first post, I enjoy reading your posts, just feel on this occasion you overstepped the mark.

Say if we sack and pay off Warne, hire a new manager and his way of playing does not come off and he has us hovering around the relegation zone, will it still have been a wise use of resources?

I'd say we'd have to reign our next goal in if we are blowing money on paying off Warne and his coaching team with 2 years left on their contracts. Doubt we would be much of a pull for any potential managers if we'd just sacked one that got us promoted.

I'm assuming that you are expecting Clowes to fund this pay off of his employee that will have just met his goal? Hopefully, Clowes will realise the money will be better spent on funding the squad for next season.

He has been promoted 3 times so surely he is a promotion specialist? I assume you think we had to win every game this season to be ready for The Championship judging by your last line then?

The Northampton and Wycombe results both came as a result of profligacy infront of goal. If teams as poor as them have been able to stifle us, it's strange that much better teams have been unable to. Would we? Does that style of play suit our top scorer James Collins? What about our second top goal scorer NML? Most of his goal contributions have come from out wide haven't they?
