  1. From memory, Tottenham was our 3rd league game after a draw against Pompey and narrow defeat against Man City. We have a win and a draw in September, sandwiched by heavy defeats to Liverpool and Arsenal. I don't think it was until the stuffing from West Ham that it became apparent how bad we were.
  2. That's a bit harsh. He does mention his Lucky Database too.
  3. But with a game in hand and the opportunity to go 3 points ahead of us.
  4. At no point tonight were they cruising. Bolton much the better team. Barnsley didn't impress in the slightest when we played them the other week and tonight has done nothing to change that.
  5. I don't see how tonight can be viewed as anything other than the best outcome. Any other outcome could have ended with one team 3 points ahead of us.
  6. Who would have a thunk it, teams with slender leads come under lots of pressure at the end of games, so its not just us. I'll be honest and say that I don't see us beating Bolton based on their performance tonight.
  7. What does the Lucky Database show though?
  8. I didn't see Tuesday being down to lack of effort, just very sloppy play. Fornahs performance against was Bradford was just complete lack of effort.
  9. You can yes but that would completely overlook his appearance against Bradford where he showed zero interest in being on the pitch.
  10. Been flicking channels and my choices are Troy Deeney, Clinton Morrison and Stuart Broad?!?! or Alan Shearer. Would be interested to hear Bartons thoughts on them!
  11. There are going to be times when your defenders get outpaced, look at Cashin at Lincoln away. That's absolutely no excuse for Wildsmiths idiotic challenge. As slow as he is, if you look at the still picture of the penalty decision, Bradley was back to cover Wildsmith.
  12. Had no control of the game at any point. The players were basically just doing as they pleased. When he was telling players where to take free kicks from they were just walking off. Their player went down injured off the pitch, rolled back on and then walked 40 yards to the touchline, all while the referee just stood their watching. My favourite though was the free kick he gave us for a late challenge on Nelson which he 100% did not see and only gave because of the crowds reaction.
  13. Well isn't that the job of a goalkeeper. He was in poor form and was rightly dropped. I think if Vickers was fit he'd be back in the team again on Saturday, correctly in my opinion because Wildsmith has been poor last 2 games again.
  14. Yeah that's probably what caused him to make a completely reckless challenge that he had no need to make.
  15. He did exactly the same thing at Oxford before he was dropped. Absolutely brain dead.
  16. *Awaits incoming snipe about Warne not letting youngsters on the pitch*
  17. Maybe you've got your gender wrong madam?
  18. Leyton Orient are top of the form table over the last 10 games.
  19. Wonder if we will ever lose a match again where it isn't because the manager is rubbish, his tactics are pathetic or the players are awful?
  20. Despite that we are 2 goals behind the top scorers in the division who just 8 weeks ago were the best team to ever visit Pride Park and certainties for promotion.
  21. I know our auditor had definitely been doing his job longer than 4 years, so would have been just as qualified as Pearce for suggesting the change of amortisation. Funny that Pearce never suggested it at Chelsea given their record on spending too.
  22. That's good, can start referring to myself as highly qualified on here then.
