I think you could well be right,if we get a new owner who is prepared to take the -15 point hit for next year to save money then we will be restricted as to what we could offer money wise in the way of new contracts so they may well get better offers elsewhere anyway. Their agents could have been been busy these last couple of months.

The club has virtually no assets. It has the name and the golden share and some players. Most of those player will, as things stand, be leaving in the summer, stripping the club of most of the assets it has left.

You don’t need the EFL’s agreement to exit administration - just the creditors agreement. But the EFL can impose further sanctions if they don’t like your business plan.

I can't see the administrators agreeing to that situation in all honesty,they are dealing with a championship club, not putting everything on hold to see where we are at the end of the season.

We need to wait and judge Quantuma when the outcome is known. Quantuma can’t win. What do people expect them to say at this stage?? I accept that that they screwed up with their statement about how pleased we will be with progress, but these kind of deals have a habit of moving in front of your very eyes!  They should have known that, but we are putting a lot of pressure on them to tell us what’s happening. Can’t please all the people all of the time! We simply have to be patient. No amount of slagging them will miraculously deliver the result we are all waiting for.

How can you be certain it’s the administrators making it hard for new owners?
 
It could the creditors demanding more than the bidders are offering. It could be the administrators trying to protect Derby and reduce the risk of a further points deduction. It could be problems reaching agreement regarding the stadium.
The facts are none of us really know what challenges remain, who is causing them or who has the power to resolve them.

Football needs a complete remodel it’s no longer sustainable, look at the amount of debt even the big clubs are in the figures are scary. Wages need to be capped throughout the whole of Europe and these daft transfer fees need to be capped also, I’m surprised anyone would want to buy us in current climates.
