I went down to Pride Park this morning because I wanted to appreciate just how lucky we are to have a future to look forward to. I walked round it a couple of times and enjoyed a sarnie and a coke at Greggs.  It was so quiet and peaceful and it was good to be there and to be able to relax.
Here's to those days when it's buzzing with noise and excitement again and the game is the main subject being discussed!

Don’t know if our new owner reads this forum but if he does I just want to say a massive thank you , I could go on to describe how I feel about derby county and what it means to know the club is not going under but there’s no point as he already knows all that , it s clear he feels it himself ,,, this is a fan that came in when the club was on its knees and in its death throws needing massive over valuation/ spend to buy and take forward not a pretend fan buying on the cusp of promotion to the big big prem money ,
will be at pp for the first game against Oxford to drink in the emotion with dc , many from this forum who have gone through this together and thousands more derby fans

Lionel Pickering was a fan.

The League of Gentlemen contained a number of fans.

The now former owner was the odd one out.

Great news and a great relief.
So please for all my Derby supporting Family & Friends and of course all of you lot here.
Yes, I will admit it now, I am a Forest fan, but contrary to popular belief, there is no law that means being a Forest fan means you have to hate Derby.
Delighted that you are now owned by someone who genuinely loves the club. I  have to say CK struck me as another Fawaz and I think you dodged a bullet big time.
Anyway,  enjoy celebrating this weekend,  then relax and enjoy your summer.
And if you lot can carry the spirit and togetherness you showed last season into this one, it hopefully wont be too long before we can resume those fantastic A52 derbies......hopefully in the PL!

The covid stuff ,lockdowns , shut downs of golf courses( for me ,gyms and other sports for others ) followed by the derby county disaster where something that has been an ever present since childhood can and nearly is gone in the blink of an eye has aged me physically and mentally, ive put weight on that I’m really struggling to shift and I have become far more cynical which is something I don’t enjoy
