duck it. I have supported DCFC since 1959 and would rather the club went into liquidation than give pube head or the ambulance chaser one penny.

Tell me, how many people think Leicester are "tainted"? They payed no one, and I know the rules changed after they went into administration. But does anybody say,"not going to the match today, it's Leicester, and they let all those businesses go to the wall"? No one cares.

Here's what I think will happen. Everton will come calling, WR will say he wants to complete this season. Everton will name an interim manager, WR joins them ready for next season.

I Have had a fantastic time supporting this great club for 55 years, but nothing lasts forever and if this is to be Derby Countys final season I would like to tell anyone who has ever played for us how much joy you have given me.
As for the scum who pretend to look after our wonderful sport I cannot explain how much I despise you .and I wonder if they will be willing to pay the companies (large and small one man bands) the monies that they could have expected from a sale of the club.
As for you Mel I can't find any words that would not be a profanity.

On the old European nights, myself and the two guys I stood with, took it in turns to bring a bottle of brandy to the game. Win or lose, by full time we didn't care.

I went to the above game. Its hard to explain the significance of the result and performance. It was like a new confidence running through the whole Club and supporters that we could take on and beat any team, often with ease. Hinton on that day was unplayable.
As a kid, going with his Dad, it was just brilliant going to games like that, in winter on a packed Pop Side, getting home in mid Derbyshire at about 6.00, having yer tea, watching telly feeling on top of the world, and the icing on the cake was watching all again on Match of the day.
Great days and wonderful memories.

Is there any wonder football is broken?
I've said it before, but as someone fast approaching their free bus-pass who was in the BBG when we were winning the league, the Championship suits me just fine. Every game winnable and I can get tickets for any game I want to attend. Selfish maybe, but the Premier League is a farce.

I gave him a lift back to Leeds (where he used to live) from Derby after a match just after he started reporting on Derby. Wasn’t arrogant at all. He’s a nice bloke, enthusiastic and has immersed himself in the club. Doesn’t take himself too seriously and strikes a good balance between analysis of tactics, players and the different personalities he comes across at our football club
