  1. Watched the first episode of The Gone last night on iPlayer. It's stereotypical, cliched bollox with soap opera-level acting and a similar level of scriptwriting. It's painful to watch on every level, and I really don't think I can go back to it even though it's only one episode.
  2. We couldn't have kids either because I'm a total jaffa. But I would imagine knowing that from the get-go is much easier to manage than what you have had to deal with. All I can say is you have my best wishes, and you are lucky to have one another.
  3. I'd say that was a good idea. But ya know, it's Leeds, so it's not.
  4. @NottsRam @Anag Ram @Comrade 86 have you all seen the Canadian gangster series Bad Blood? That was fantastic but they only made two seasons. I'm going to guess you have.
  5. Not sure what to watch next. @Stive Pesley has put me off moving on to season two of Bloodline. I enjoyed season one, but now Danny is dead, and he was the best character, and after Stive's brutal and slamming indictment, I think we should maybe remember it fondly and move on. No more than a 7/10 for me. This Town looks interesting but isn't available until the weekend, so I may opt for Coma - any thoughts? I just pulled up a lot of top dramas now available and came across this. I don't think I've heard of it, but it looks pretty good.
  6. Tory Britain, very realistic 😬
  7. Driving to Perranporth Beach on Sunday.
  8. Went back to check out Bloodline on Netlfix from 2017. Incredibly slow plot development, but some great acting, and I'm hooked. It has taken 10 episodes, though, and only strong recommendations got me to hang on and give it a chance. Unless they go all Game of Thrones with the ending, we'll definitely move on to season two. Oh, and er, well, we watched the first season of The Traitors Australia and have moved on to the second. Paul Warne's career with Derby, in the eyes of certain board members, is more salvageable than my credibility.
  9. I agree, not one. Catastrophe Calamity Cataclysm Tragedy Devastation Apocalypse Upheaval Debacle Fiasco Misfortune Mishap Misadventure Reversal Setback Blow Disappointment Letdown Bummer Fizzle Upset
  10. If you can ignore the football, Warne is such a likeable person. I'd definitely piss on him if he was on fire.
  11. Any time added will be a crime. To humanity.
  12. Agreed. But. And here's where I kill the vibe. With Lea & Perrins on. I also like them with fish fingers and salad cream.
  13. I'm not sure about the TE, but who knows how Higbess will recover. But I Love the Dotson res-signing, and all the people in the Rams On Demand message board who I respect seem to universally really like the Curl pick-up. Are you a member there?
  14. No, me neither, but if we are looking to save money by not keeping CW, then I thinks he's a solid clipboard holder. Other than AD, I LOVE our off season so far.
  15. Has anybody seen this on Netflix? I just had it recommended to me. I've never heard of it. It gets 8.4 on IMDb but the trailer looks a bit hammy to me. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13433812/
  16. Humour is 100% subjective. I saw Chris Rock live and barely smirked as he ranted about his wife, but a huge venue was in uproar. I don't find her funny at all, but if she can fill the Appllo, some people clearly do.
  17. Gutted to see 99 retire. He is the best defensive player I've ever seen, he utterly dominated games on his own. He dragged the Rams into the Super Bowl and then won it. Having said that, it would be ironic is we finally beat the 9ers in a divisional game now he has gone.
