  1. I did it in the Osmaston Upper surrounded by West Ham, and C Stand surrounded by Chelsea. I didn't know I was in the away end. And apparently, neither did the stewards or anybody else for that matter.
  2. You mean more than face value. Their worth is incalculable! I'm prepared to offer Mrs Badgers favourite Coach handbag and Kate Spade shoes. To some that's about a grand. To me it's my nut sack containing my nuts. But tbh, I use my nut sack less than she wears those shoes so it's worth it.
  3. I've no idea tbh because I've not interacted with you before that I remember. But no harm done.
  4. She looks exactly like my eldest, except she'd demand a 1000 thread count cushion.
  5. s***, I'd not thought of that. If anybody does have a ticket, can I please let you know at halftime of the Carlisle match if I want to come in?
  6. I had a season ticket for 30 years until I moved to the US. I followed Derby home and away and have stood on terraces with a handful of other Rams fans in the days in the old second division when we had nothing like the away support we have now. And home games dipped under 10k. I put on bus trips many times from Matlock and I was as loyal as pretty much anybody on this board. I now live in western Cornwall, and getting back for games is very difficult. Not least because the number of painkillers I have to take because I get sciatica when driving for more than an hour, is verging on suicidal. I freely admit I'd not want to put myself through the pain and discomfort of driving 6 or 7 hours each way for a meaningless game, so if that means 'sunshine supporter' to you, so be it. But I'm relaxed in the knowledge that I've put in my time and spent tens of thousands of pounds watching Derby on 70 different league grounds. As for why I didn't buy one 4 weeks ago. That was because I had to make a choice of coming up for the Orient game or the last game, and as it was a mate's birthday this last weekend and my wedding anniversary on Saturday, we rolled the dice.
  7. Does anybody know of a site that sells footie tickets? In the US, getting tickets for any game was a snap. If you were prepared to go to a site like Ticketmaster or Stub Hub, there were always literally hundreds, but it doesn't seem there is much of this going on here.
  8. I'd love one too. Drove up from Cornwall for this weekends thinking that would be it until next season. But Mrs Badger has agreed to cover all our dog bases if I can get a ticket. Happy to pay a convenience fee on top of the ticket price and throw in a Doberman or two.
  9. Me and @Eatonram always referred to him as Shirker. His injury went on for ever. Very good player on his day though.
  10. I'm not sure that's true at all, mate. Having said that, I do think we'd be up by now if it wasn't for Steve Cherry's poor goalkeeping.
  11. I thought you were talking about Mrs Badger initially.
  12. What are you talking about? Ignore him people I forgot to say, it also includes a meet and greet with Dave Mackay.
  13. I'm up from Cornwall, and @Eatonram got me a ticket, not knowing a mate had a spare one. It's in South East corner. £12. But we won't pay you a penny more. Welcome to call me on 07761 143 477 BTW, I thought there was a ticket thread but couldn't see it, so apologies if I'm breaking some rules and feel free to delete.
  14. Is that tonight's game you're describing? On episode 4 and as we're heading up to Derbyshire tomorrow, I doubt we'll go back to it. Well acted and filmed but utterly pretentious.
  15. Not on them. He's got a bottle inside one of his boots. Tough playing like that tbf.
  16. I know it will be superseded by the next three games if we win, but I feel like this is the biggest game since Frank said 'II know what would be hysterical, let's leave out the guy who scored two goals coming off the bench in the last game' I'm coming up for Saturday's game, so please win, lads, and set it up nicely.
  17. I'm disgruntled with a small d but I'm not Disgruntled with a capital D. I'm a bit disgruntled with Ripley after an episode and a half. I hope someone can drag it out of its own a******* sooner rather than later.
  18. I said to Mrs Badger. Don't you think I'm like Larry David? She replied. Yes <pause> you're a bald bad tempered t*** too. How we laughed.
  19. Yep, we watched it tonight too. Fabulous scriptwriting and you always get the impression they're having a blast.
  20. Just finished This Town. It grew on me a lot, and I'd be surprised if they didn't make another season. I hope they do, as there are some intriguing options to take storylines. I was very much into the whole Two Tone thing, and the attention to detail was really impressive. I think it would look confusing or even unrealistic for some people who didn't go to gigs around then. But it really was a strange mix of mods, skinheads, rude boys, punks and the like. Almost every gig I went to at the time ended up in fighting between mods and skinheads, especially at gigs by The Jam. As a couple of side notes, am I the only one who thinks Dante looks a lot like a young Cassius Clay? And that both Robbie and Gregory were trying to be Tommy Shelby? After a pondering start, a solid 8/10 for episodes 4,5 and 6 and it left me wanting more - which is what a good series should do.
