Latest comments on transfer activity from Paul Warne, taken from this DET article;
Warne says he is still actively looking for further additions and says that could take him right up until deadline day.
"There isn't anything exciting to tell you," Warne told DerbyshireLive. "I am still trying to sign a central midfielder.
"I'd like another attacking option that we are trying to do. It could be pizza and fish and chips on transfer deadline day night.
"I know everyone thinks we have this pot of gold and everybody is going to come to Derby. It's not the case. I have a budget that is used up by the players we currently have.
"Whatever I have got left, I have got to try to bring players in who are better than we currently have. It isn't easy. If it was, they would be here.
"There are a lot of players who are free agents who will say 'yes I will come' but they've not had a pre-season, they've not played and even if I signed them, I just wouldn't waste the money.
"It's pointless bringing somebody in for the sake of it. It's a waste of David's (Clowes) money really. I need people who are going to compete.
"You keep looking at the Championship and Premier League squads and you'll look and see a player and think, well he's not played again, surely he wants to play a bit more.
"They weren't there two weeks ago, but they are becoming more apparent. The hard thing is a lot of players want to stay in the Championship as long as they can and think if I can just hang in there, I can get in the team."
Don’t think we will see much if anything before deadline day

I guess the Derby story from Nixon is about Cosgrove

Deserves that black eye from the 4 yard miss tbf 👀 brilliant today, Collins was good in 10 when subs were made which means bird may go back to his more natural position

Wildsmith - 6. Not much to do but doesn't look quite as assured in places
Nelson - 6.5. Steady and did what was needed
Bradley - 6.5. As above
Cashin - 7. Brought it out nicely a couple of times and wasn't tested too much.
Smith - 6. OK, kept it simple
Hourihane - 7.5. Good goal and assist
Bird- 8. Superb second half. Looked a cut above but needs to add consistency.
NML - 7. Probably should have scored a couple but industrious and a danger
Collins - 7.5. Worked away as ever and got his goal
Washington - 7. Comes on and gets a goal albeit offside but do him good
Waghorn - 6.5. Not too long to make an impact but involved in 3rd
Wilson/Thompson/Elder - n/a
Was you there?? No giving you grief but early on cashin made 1/2 big mistakes compared to Bradley and Nelson he was not better than them at all he nearly cost us

Was there today like most games after our first we should of made it 0-2 straight after but we did rest of the half burton were better but ive been to every league game at burton they’ve always been more up for it but second half we were different level, NML could of scored bird should 1000% of scored but we didn’t panic and we finished the game off, Warne In up the rams

Yh I might have accidentally got something right 😂. Just seen carrick said they’re going to send Coburn on loan once they get strikers in.
Thinking about it sheff United are after Akpom if he goes then it’s very unlikely

Carrick pretty much confirmed that Coburn will go out on loan according to their local press, seems again like they are waiting on ins first
Let’s hope it’s us

I wonder if the striker is Josh Coburn, Middlesbrough are about to sign a striker and apparently want another one. Coburn would make sense on a lot of fronts
Good shout hope so

Very quiet? Good sign? Have seen no rumours even rubbish twitter ones?
That one Warne was close to 2 weeks ago mustn’t of been very close

Burton Albion fans seem fairly unanimous in that they have a better side than us, had it not been for their injuries I would imagine many would be expecting a fairly comprehensive win on their side.
Wonder if Stockton will be fit

Aren't these the sort of things we were saying when Rosenior couldn't win an away game for love nor money?
We all have a moan me more than most but it’s literally 2 games, I’ve seen people say scrap the 5 at the back it’s 3 new defenders learning to play with each other, they and Warne deserve some time, this over reaction is crazy
