  1. Wildsmith 8 good free kicks solid in net

    Nelson 8 some signing

    Nyambe 8 same as Nels

Cashin 8 best performance for a while

    Fozzy 8 same as Cash

    Smith 8 solid worked hard

Hourhaine 8 great balls into box worked hard

    Bird 7 worked hard

NML 8 beast last few weeks

Barky 7.5 his goals will come better team with him in it

Collins 8.5 held hall up some good runs and bagged 2

  2. Got back not long ago, absolutely battered then first half with possession but all we did was cross it to our smallest striker…

total domination with no end product and next minute we’re 2-0 Down and it’s too late to win, credit us for coming back so late on but all the domination in the world just to cross to no one will gets us nowhere…

weird game papered over the cracks late on

  3. Wildsmith 4 kicking was shocking probably should of saved the second free kick

Cashin 4 early Yellow didn’t help was poor overall

Nelson 6 did what he could

Fozzy 4 his worst for a long time

    Nyambe 5 tried

    Wilson 5 Tried

Hourhaine 4 poor showing from captain

Bird 5 did a lot of decent stuff but twice tried skills and tricks instead of 5 yard passes

    NML 6.5 best player

    Sibley 4 2 shockers in a row

Wash 4 tried against people twice the size

    Smith 4 terrible cameo

Collins 5 only player not afford to shoot

Barky 5 not his best cameo but personally think he should start every game when fit

    Bradley 5 shaky

can’t even remember who else came on trying to forget the waste of money of a day yet again

What are the realistic options? We’re not going to have the funds to bring in anyone who is currently in a job, so who is available?

Nathan Jones? Suspect we would find in him a similar problem to the one we’ve had with Warne: a manager that works better with small clubs with underdog mentalities. Look at his time with Southampton/Stoke compared to Luton.

    Warnock? Off to QPR

Eustace? Will rightly wait for a Championship job

For me (perhaps controversial opinion) but I think Mark Warburton would be a good fit. Total change of playing style. Ex-Forest I know, but have always enjoyed watching his sides.

Personally think Eustace would jump at the chance

I often wonder if it’s a confidence thing?
NML has looked a bit more like his best at times in the last couple of games and has scored two well taken goals. For all the criticism he gets, Washington’s goal on Tuesday night was pretty decent in my view, took on a couple and drilled it in at the near post, you’d think that would give him confidence but then he hesitates like in that moment you referred to and I can’t work it out.
Phil Brown praised their cb highly after the game on radio Derby, said words to the effect of none of our forwards fancied it after the cb had imposed himself. That might have knocked the tiny bit of confidence out of Washington.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing but on reflection I think Warne would have been better starting Collins and Fornah for that initial “fight”, I get he doesn’t like changing a winning team but seems like a bit of physicality was needed to ride out the battles before playing a bit of football.

Was strange after saying all week they’ll be the toughest strongest opponents to then start with our smallest striker, if he’d of scored it we could be on here praising a good result

Exactly how I feel, £140 for me and my son to go to home games, including travel and drinks etc. I can’t justify spending that the way things currently stand.

I tried sticking up for them I tried the time, I was fed up of the negativity but it’s just gone past it now for me, it’s poor

  7. Stuck up for him stuck up for the team a couple weeks back, last week at Shrewsbury was tough but another 90 quid train 25 quid ticket before ale to watch that has probably broke me on sticking up? The 3rd went in and we left, didn’t give the stupid boos etc but now I think it’s time to go, he must know it running of down the tunnel

I couldn’t agree more. I’m rarely on here at the moment and I largely avoid Twitter. All the negativity and moaning for the sake of it is really draining and really getting me down. The only thing ruining the current season for me is our own supporters.

So, I’m now largely avoiding football on social media and just enjoying going to Pride Park to watch the matches. And yes, I am enjoying them.

I’m going to have to join you in staying off, it’s draining, we have been half decent and that’s with plenty of Injuries, it’s a long season, Warne and some of the players getting abused just simply don’t deserve it, it’s like we’ve won 2 in 10 not lost 1 in 10

The reason it seems that the more entrenched views are the negative ones is because it's Warne's second season and we are not looking any better than when he took over. We also aren't high in the table nor playing pretty football. The future doesn't seem to look as hopeful as we'd all wish.

    Why be surprised by negativity?

Win our game in hand and we’ll be 4th how isn’t that high in the table??
