teddyb16 got a reaction from Premier ram in Creating that unique atmosphere for home games
With home wins vitally important, how can we get Pride Park rocking? So loud the players hear it in the changing room.
Get people in earlier so that build up is unique.
can we steal something like this?

I think the direct line from the EFL to Steve Gibson may well be running hot. The last thing the EFL will want is for Derby to go under due to the spotlight that is on it currently. Formed in 1888 and one of those founder members goes to teh wall when people are waiting to rescue them? Wow. They will be queueuing up to be chair of the investigation group!
If they allow it to happen then the argument for an independant regulator just grows stronger and the government will come at them hard. We all know that football doesnt want that because of how secretive it is. Example, how on earth can Chelsea sit with 1.2 billion in debt but suffer no consequences? How is that a level playing field? I know they can do it because the accounting practices allow it but as soon as a regulator comes in these things will be ripped apart as they would question the integrity of the competition.
I actually think Quantama have played their hand well so far, yes they could give us more information, yes we would like them to be transparent but to quote a great poem by Rudyard Kipling,
"If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you"
It is clear that the EFL need to govern and bring their members in to line but the deadline set by them is probably scaring them more now because Quantama can sit there and say, we have the means and the people, we just need you to give us the green light.

teddyb16 got a reaction from Ted McMinn Football Genius in Wayne Rooney
I think Everton will go back for Bobby Brown Shoes. 2m compensation is cheap for a top manager. Rooney said in his interview with Ed Dawes yesterday that they "are building something special here". He is also being advised some wise old folk who will tell him Everton is a poisoned chalice

Only thing I can think with the Shinnie fee is there is still money owed to Wigan for Byrne and Marshall. Accept 30k, clear the debt and its one less creditor

If this is the case and the boro and Wycombe claims are what's causing the issue why aren't we bringing claims against villa and QPR? Surely a fan based lawsuit against them wakes everyone up and starts the waves rather than a ripple. We need to shut this down

There had to be s lawyer amongst the dcfc fans who will take this on? Why aren't we going after villa and qpr? We then justvsaybto boro and Wycombe we will pay you when we get paid. The efl will step in then

teddyb16 got a reaction from Day in Captain Tom Lawrence
This is definitely Rooney using a bit if his Sir Alex experience. The decision you would hope was discussed by the coaching staff.
Sir Alex made Cantona captain after his ban for the Kung Fu kick and after he had asked for his contract to be terminated. He lead them to the title.
John Toshack named Craig Bellamy the Wales captain ahead of Giggs. Gareth Bale captains Wales despite having zero interest in playing for Real and they got to a semi final.
I am not saying Lawrence is in this mould of player but divisive players who split opinion have captained sides throughout history, some with great success.
Paulo diCanio, Duncan Ferguson, Jack Grealish
Rooney et al work with him daily and they know the club has stood by him
Good luck Tom

teddyb16 got a reaction from Chanyoung Lee in Phillip Cocu
More a question or a "does anyone know". Mr Cocu lived not too far from me and I regularly sae him running round the village and also in our local Morrisons.
I presumed he had gone back to Holland once his employment ended to be with his family but I have just seen him running passed my house again (hell of a pace too!). He was also in full DCFC training kit
Anyone shed any light?
