Would love anyone but djoko to win but looks unlikely

I like Djokovic, apart from being a great tennis player he is one of the few that has a personality as well.

    Anyway... 1 set up atm.

@maxjam episode 5 = banger. Totally called the end, and got a little bit excited much to my wife’s confusion (she still wasn’t sure after I tried to explain it to her!)

Yeah its all becoming a lot clearer now, obvious reasons why whats happening is happening although Sword are taking a less than sympathetic approach!

The Winter Soldier and Falcon Superbowl trailer looks good - can't wait for that to start next month either ?

Watched The Mandalorian for the first time over Xmas. Not a huge Star Wars fan but was pleasantly surprised as to how engaged I became in the story from episode 1.

Gets better the longer it goes on imo - by the end of season 2 its Star Wars nerd nirvana.

My 'oh god you're not watching Star Wars again' wife felt similar to you.  Started off reading a book whilst I watched it on the tv, ended up looking forwards to each episode, watching them at 9am as soon as they became available!

It’s been both a slow burner and also delightful. I thought it would get its ideas across quicker and feature more action, but instead it’s happy to just let us watch the couple have fun in different sit com settings.

You’re right, but some of my initial guesses are still looking correct. Not too many Marvel twists yet (being the key word). You enjoying it?

Well ep#4 started to clear the mists a bit.  Pretty much as I called it so far, but no doubt there will be a twist that proves me completely wrong lol.

For anyone else interested in watching Wandvision, I would highly recommend watching the first 4 episodes in one sitting - it will save you a lot of head scratching and a lasting WTF expression on your face.

    Its certainly different!

I can see why they released the first two episodes at the same time, if you had just watched the first one you would have though wtf?!?  But the second and third episodes had a little (and it was a little) more 'somethings not right' about them.

Definitely a slow burner but that kinda works - you're watching with a underlying sense of 'terror' as you know it could all kick off at any moment.  The cheesey laughs and forced acting are there to lul you into a false sense of security, you just know they are gonna hit you with something when you least expect it!

I’ve played most of those on Xbox. Although may have to go back to Red Dead as I’ve not got very far and stopped playing when life got busy. Odyssey too, started well but just didn’t have the time.

Uncharted 1 was really good (for a PS3 era game) but what is up with the scares at end? No spoilers, but my word, I wasn’t expecting it. Just started Horizon, very good so far. Gorgeous looking game.

I picked up Immortals Fenyx Rising at the end of the Epic sale as well, you can add that to the list of excellent games as well - Zelda Breath of the Wild vibes, but on PC!

  7. The pressure certainly is mounting in the media today.

Personally I'd give him time to grow into the job, especially this season as everyone is dropping points.

He did great last season with the kids under a transfer ban and quite often foreign imports can take a season to settle before they hit their best form - but then I have always been one for giving managers time *and* this is Chelsea, so he'll probably be gone soon!

Leaked list of Epic Store freebie games - can't confirm if its right or not but the first two are correct.

Some very good games on the list ?

This leaked list turned out to be correct ?

Final day today and Epic are giving away Jurassic World Evolution. I bought this at launch and probably have 50+ hours into it - excellent game if you like the genre.

Due to lack of stock for any game console, not just the new gen releases, I was struggling to find a PS4 for under £200, and that’s just the basic model. After many weeks of searching, however, I have bought a PS4 Pro for a good price. Means I can now play all the first party titles I have missed out on being on Xbox. Anyone got any recommendations for favourite PS4 games?

I’ve so far bought Spider-Man, God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Uncharted (Nathan Drake collection) and Witcher 3. Got a backlog there to keep me busy for now. Don’t do well with scary stuff so not sure if I will enjoy Last of Us...

Side note - anyone with a console they don’t use anymore, stick it on eBay. You will make some good money at the minute!

Horizon Zero Dawn is one of my favourite games, just bought it for a second time in the Epic sale to play it on my PC ?

As for good PS4 games I guess that depends on your taste but I can recommend Fortnite (free!), Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order, Red Dead Redemption 2, Assassins Creed Odyssey, GTAV, Monster Hunter World, Dishonored 2, Doom Eternal.

Pretty good war film, interesting story and famed for being filmed to look like its one long shot (its not, there are several obvious cuts).  Watched it on my PC via Amazon Prime with some 3d surround sound haptic headphones on - there is one bit in particular near(ish) the beginning of the film that really immersed you into the action.  Overall the cinematography and sound were excellent, story was fairly straight forwards.

Solid 7/10 maybe 8/10+ if war movies are your thing ?

What people forget is that when they watched the first ones they were kids and loved it. By the time the prequels came out, they’d grown up but Star Wars hadn’t.

Exactly - which I why I'm looking forwards to these new tv shows, they have the potential to be edgier or darker than the movies, which were always sci-fi light, good vs evil, family friendly affairs.

The best Star Wars stuff has always been in the Expanded Universe tbh, for any nerds out there such as myself a lot of this stuff is essential reading ?

This was revealed after/during credits on Mandalorian

Yeah it was teased, now we have confirmation of actors, directors, timeline etc.

Hope they have some flashbacks to Boba escaping the Sarlacc!

  13. If you've got a high end PC, Cyberpunk actually a very good game.

Shortish main story, about 15-20hrs long but the side quests shouldn't really be considered side quests as they add a lot of content and background information to individual characters and the story.

I've only experienced a few relatively minor bugs myself, mostly fixed by a quick save/reload and would whole-heartedly recommend it.  If you're in any doubt however, wait 6 months or so for any bugs to get patched out and pick it up for half price!

Not sure what its like on PS5 or the new Xbox, but anyone thinking of playing it on last gen consoles should steer well clear - hence the refunds.  Shocking it got released in that state tbh ?
