  1. Massive let off for Derby. Cashin commits himself and gets an unlucky bounce. Orient totally balls up the great chance. Defensively we look half asleep. Poor start but Orient look equally suspect.
  2. Wow, some great baubles on that. I'd love to post a picture, very rare I get asked. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get mine up this year....
  3. Bonkers film. Posted on here at the time. Absolutely 100 miles an hour, non-stop ideas, action, humour, fun... Very much one of a kind. Loved it.
  4. Violent Night Expected more from it. Was a bit of a strange mix really. Like Home Alone with lots of very strong expletives and too much gore for little kids. Wish they'd gone one way or the other... properly made it adult with less silly slapstick humour and without the naff saccharine storyline or cut some of the swearing/sexual references and made it a proper kids film. Not sure who the audience was but I was expected more thrills and less cheese. 5 out of 10
  5. And don't get me started on my unfinished opus on James Collins to the tune of Wizard of Oz/Follow The Yellow Brick Road. # Collo, Collo, Collo, Collo the fellow who scores on the road..
  6. I faced the same unbelievable lack of support for my Waghorn suggestion... To the tune of oggy oggy oggy # Waggy, Waggy, Waggy... .#.score score score Genius.
  7. It's impossible to know really. When any team is 1-0 down in a close game, they generally will get on top.. and as soon as they equalise the whole tempo of the game changes. So, I understand the idea that Bradley's introduction is a bit negative mentally, it suggests we are just preparing to hang on. But wouldn't that happen inevitably anyway as the clock winds down, so it makes sense to get our biggest, strongest, best header of the ball on the pitch?
  8. Finally got round to starting a recommendation : 'Mr Inbetween'. The set up sounds similar to 'Barry' but it's a bit less slapstick and more about the day-to-day activities of a hit man than of him wanting to start a new life. Short episodes that are rattling by. Good quality, enjoying it so far. 8/10
  9. Oh ..come on. All this pathetic nit-picking when we have won is beyond ridicule. However....Shaun Barker constantly referring to James Collins as 'Collo' on Ramstv, should result in him being whipped through the streets, absolutely drives me mad.
  10. High tempo. Lots of energy and a bit of pace. Playing the ball on the ground. Lots to like so far.
  11. Decent start. Game moving along quickly. Derby look dangerous.
  12. Very quiet on here. I think no one was particularly enamoured with yesterday's performance even if the 3 points were crucial. The Warne-outers know another win, Derby nestled in the playoffs and top 2 being within sight means their vociferous calls for him to go are going to fall on deaf ears. However, as a Warne-in'er... it was a tough watch for periods yesterday. The first half was scruffy, untidy and lacking in quality. The substitutions definitely helped us and we probably just about deserved the goal and I felt we looked brighter then. Bristol rarely troubled us and the equaliser was a hammer blow out of nothing. I just didn't see us scoring but Fornah showed real class and NML who was head and shoulders above the rest going forward grabbed the winner. Don't think Bristol deserved much but we weren't great either. Our final ball and most of our deadball delivery were pretty terrible. Take the win and can start to look up but the midfield looks one-paced, we didn't really have much width and had little menace in front of goal. Players to come back are going to be vital. It felt like a backward step with our to n fro performances but this time we still got the job done. Really need to kick on now and use the squad better.
  13. I literally forgot Barks was playing at one point. Was completely anonymous for long periods. NML hugs the touchline and makes things happen, same with Wilson. Gives us much needed width.
  14. Pretty scruffy, formless game so far. Derby shading possession but creating little.
  15. For all the constant disagreements about Warne, I'd say there's a decent chance that ; Top 2 is great. He will get the beginning of another season to prove he can flourish in the Championship Top 6 and up via the play offs. Same as above but with even less time to prove history isn't going to repeat itself. Top 6 and failure to go up. Depending how unlucky and plucky we are, he may possibly get another shot but the knives will be out pretty much all the time and possibly be toxic. Outside the play offs and he will go. Outside the play offs early on - he will be replaced before the season ends.
  16. Seems like Frank takes a similar approach to club finances as Uncle Harry.
  17. Didn't realise Eddie Hearn was a Derby fan.
  18. Agreed. I argued that point a few times. I was Warne-in, not because I thought he was doing amazingly wel but because he has a track record of getting out of this league. While we are still in the hunt I prefer to stick, rather than constantly twisting in the hope we can trade our cow for magic beans this time. The narrative over the poor football was over stated too. That's not to say some performances haven't been poor and we have thrown away a couple of results against teams we should be beating. But even now 2 more wins and we'd be right up there. The season is long and just starting to unfurl. A run of 2 or 3 poor games and results and the pressure will be huge again.
  19. Next weekend we would hopefully have buried Reading...and Oxford and/or Portsmouth would have dropped points. Really need to put a proper run together now and get into the mix for top 2.
  20. This was my reflection. His single-minded attitude towards getting to the match. As a parent it always made me smile thinking of his Dad being organised and directed to get him to the game and how B4 expected everyone to have the same attitude as he did about his priorities. Speaks volumes for his family how he spoke of them and knew they would back him up, move heaven and earth to make him happy. Hopefully in the future being able to read all that will give them some comfort. Its been a noticeably quieter and less positive place over the last few weeks without him. The transfer speculation will be particularly less exciting without him too.
  21. Surely B4 has opened more threads than anyone else? He just loved a positive pre/postmatch rant/prediction/call to arms. He never minded what other people thought and was always so good natured in all his posts. What about turning the forum pink for a day as a good natured tribute! Or maybe not... Thoughts go to everyone close to him.
  22. It was the perfect 'Warne' performance I'm guessing. We looked like we wanted it much more. Had desperate last ditch tackles if needed, blocked the crosses, drew them in with short passes from the keeper and then went longer. Looked stronger, fitter. Scored from free kicks. Managed the game. Deserved to win. Wilson and NML beat their man from out wide. Collins bullied the centre backs. Players to come back. Warne will be happy tonight but I'm expecting to temper it until we do it more than once.
  23. First player since Ebosele where there is that genuine 'up onto my feet' vibe every time he gets the ball. NML has it with his power/pace at times but Wilson is different class with his quick feet.
