Frank Warren at the end of the show was calling on the authorities to take action as he thinks boxing should be more family friendly......
The last place I would take a family would be a boxing show on a Saturday night during the football off season.

I have resorted to using thin carrier bags to wrap open packets of bacon or sausage in the fridge cos I'm so 'special' when it comes to deploying cling film!

Having been to the same place and seen the layout, I wouldn't have left my kids there in a million years, and I'm an awful parent.
I don't see how prosecuting them for neglect would have solved anything either, other than making two further kids parentless for a period of time.
No punishment could match the one they've been handed.

Same as me, but 660ml for £2.50. Easy drinking. 

When you go to see a comedian at a show or a film at the cinema and every two minutes people are howling with laughter. Fine you might say. But when I find it unfunny. Seriously. I was sat next to this family the other day at the cinema at a kids film and they were just laughing out loud at the most simplest of gags. Part of me was pleased for them as if it's that easy to get amused then fair play to them. Part of me felt desolation inside that I posses no capacity for enjoyment.
Often I flick through the 'live at the apollo' episodes and I can decide whether I like a comic or not within a few minutes. Most I don't like. I'm watching and the comic is delivering these stories and lines and folk are laughing in the aisles and i'm sat there barely raising a smile and feeling embarrassed for the performer as it's so terrible.
Is anyone else like this or am I just a freak?
There are very, very few comedians that make me laugh out loud and even when they do it's sporadic. I find some comedians very clever and intelligent and I find those really funny but in an introverted way. I'm smiling and laughing inside and finding them insanely smart but on the outside i'm just not rolling around.
Ok, so i'm a bit odd.
Some comedians though are just atrocious.
 

My brother had a load of their stuff when I went round to his at Christmas, very nice.  He also gave me some raspberry beer and some blackcurrant beer that were an acquired taste.......

I enjoyed a few Leffe's yesterday with crackers, cheese and cottage delight sweet apple chutney.
I enjoy the Guiness craft lager stuff and I'm also someone that can swing both ways, enjoy the light, enjoy the dark I say.
If any of you wonderful folk are ever up this way check out 6 Degrees North Belgium pub in Aberdeen, Stonehaven, which has now also opened up in Glasgow and Edinburgh and looking to open up in England etc. Absolutely far better than the very overrated Brew Dog, a lot of that stuff tastes like home made perfume, what kids made out of petals when they were 5, not that I drunk many pints of kids perfume when I was 5 or now, but I think you'll get my drift. Plus you have to have a silly beard and gel your hair back and wear lumberjack shirts and think you look cool to drink the overrated pish!
The owner of 6 D N, a lovely man, gave us a box of various beers when my youngest lad was born, lovely stuff.

Getting stuck directly behind other cars on a slip road when the driver in front has decided that it's acceptable to join a 70mph road going 45/50 !
Invariably you get someone further behind you who's in a position to see this, hangs back a bit and then built up the requisite speed for when they enter the carriageway, who'll then giddily overtake you and the slow ******* infront. (No fault implied to the person behind)
That's bad enough, but will often be followed immediately by a stream of vehicles in the right hand lane also overtaking, thus locking you in place, unable to get to get up to road speed and unable to overtake the slow **** in front of you who's still only doing 60 at most, 10/20 seconds later! (and even at 60 they'll be pressing their brakes uneccessarily)
