Lyrics
I try to discover
A little something to make me sweeter
Oh baby refrain from breaking my heart
I'm so in love with you
I'll be forever blue
That you gimme no reason
Why you make-a-me work so hardThat you gimme no
That you gimme no
That you gimme no
That you gimme noSoul, I hear you calling
Oh baby, please, give a little respect to meAnd if I should falter
Would you open you arms out to me?
We can make love not war
And live at peace with our hearts
I'm so in love with you
I'll be forever blue
What religion or reason
Could drive a man to forsake his lover?Don't you tell me no
Don't you tell me no
Don't you tell me no
Don't you tell me noSoul, I hear you calling
Oh baby, please, give a little respect to meI'm so in love with you
I'll be forever blue
That you gimme no reason
You know you make-a-me work so hardThat you gimme no
That you gimme no
That you gimme no
That you gimme noSoul, I hear you calling
Oh baby, please, give a little respect to meSoul, I hear you calling
Oh baby, please, give a little respect to meI’m gonna struggle with some of those high notes

It depends how you invest it. I mean, Henderson can pretty much more than double his entire income from his career in just 2 years. It probably won’t make that much difference to his life, aside from being able to buy nicer things like more expensive toys, a yacht, a bigger house, but it gives the ability to set up those around you for life too.
£1mill can pretty much set up anybody who is middle class for life providing they invest it wisely. Henderson could use some of that chunk to set up say 10-20 of his family members or closest friends. Just from two years kicking a bag of air around with zero pressure.
Or…. He could do something good with it. I’m not holding my breath

Anyway….
How long before we see kids in England wearing replica shirts of Saudi clubs? Hopefully never but I’m not optimistic. I’ve seen a kid at a Rams’ game wearing the full PSG Mbappe. And plenty around town with PSG logo shirts. (And, no, they weren’t speaking French!).

Glad its not just me then! Was worried i had missed something! My eldestads been before on my mrs email but the other two, it was a right ball ache to get a fan ID!
You’re right. Although the good bit is that your account/ID should show them all as linked names so you can easily assign tickets to them in the future.
A question for you though…. Could you use the same email address for all your children? If not then that’s really barmy!

70% of the shares in the club for £1 according to this….
https://www.southendunited.co.uk/news/2023/july/club-statement/
I grew up in Essex - Southend was my day at the seaside. My dad wouldn’t let me swim there because he’d had a human turd float past him once.
That aside, I loved Southend as a kid - a pier so long it had a proper train on it - I really hope the football club gets through this.

So... Middlesbrough and Sheff Weds have both had this sponsor, but they've both ditched them after a single year.
Not sure if that says anything.
You wouldn’t want boro fans staying in your home - holiday let or not.

I hope this backfires. However many famous players they get, surely nobody will ever give a damn about the Saudi league.

BBC saying at 65 mins “two forest players have gone down - it’s a bit early for time-wasting”. So it’s not just in League 1 then.

Anyone who doesn’t know the difference between there and their can generally be disregarded in my opinion.
Are they aware of the general concept of ‘humour’. I suspect they would misinterpret anything to feel good about themselves.
They also don’t know the difference between “there” and “they’re”. This is taught to 10-year olds in Year 5 English. Jeez.

Hey folks,
Sorry if posted elsewhere but attending my first game in a few seasons tomorrow and wondering where is best to park for the game?
Are there any car parks for the businesses still on PP that allow you to pay?
Cheers
Just in case you’re currently driving from full car park to full car park thinking “oh s**t….”
There’s always space at Darwin Place

Errr…. I like the music.
And the timing of SBW seems to have been fixed.

When Blackpool fans were boycotting their games, I recall they brought an away following in the low tens - it may have been the game in April 2015. We sang anti-Oyston songs which contributed to the later support we got from ‘Pool fans during our struggles. Unless I’m mis-remembering!

I’m in East Stand Lower , seat number below 377 so should not have to relocate . I’ve been on the club website and accessed the Season Ticket Holder Cup Reservations tab but there is nothing there other than column headings. Anyone else having this problem?
It’s greyed out on the website until you login to your account

I’ve been with Ecotricity a long time now. Ethics are a big part of my life. Same with cutting out meat. I don’t call myself veggie or vegan, I stopped eating meat and am working on the dairy. Oat milk in coffee, try it it’s divine!
What Dale Vince has done with FGR is incredible considering the size of the place. I’ll be happy with 5-0 Sat of course but wish them well rest of season. -
