  1. I think the change he wanted was to play football that better suited his skills. It could have been Bristol, Blackpool, Birmingham or Brentford. One way or another he almost certainly wanted to kick on personally, and sorry everyone but Warne was not making him a better player, in fact he was making him look very average. We have lost our best player in my opinion.
  2. Ripping Yarns was Michael Palin. Not Mike Leigh.
  3. There are other gender type’s Grandad.
  4. Nice to see you back Crewton. It’s calmed down here a bit since Warney signed a combative midfielder. Far too early to get over excited regarding Adams’s capabilities and fitness, but the team and this forum looked better balanced this weekend.
  5. Paul Warne and Nathan Jones; football purists. Now you look back, that Curbishley guy did a good job for you.
  6. Bloody hell. Another great loss today, so soon after JPR. Such a good player. Shame he was Welsh. RIP Barry I enjoyed your skill immensely. Take care Gareth.
  7. Good win. 1 nil away is always a great result, even more so after a so so performance. Good to see other teams drop points too. A good Saturday 🐑
  8. No, no, no. He was a pretty decent player, but he has not been on his game for 5 years. We have Washington and Waghorn supposedly back soon. That would be 3 average journeymen strikers, waiting for one above average journeyman striker to not be available. We missed out getting someone we needed. Gayle would just be a case of badly papering over cracks with expensive wallpaper.
  9. Quite underwhelming, and almost resigned statement that. Couldn't they have gone with 'He will spend the remainder of the season on loan with us as we make our push for promotion'.
  10. One for the Why Board tomorrow.
  11. I'm a little surprised that Max couldn't share Warne's vision of the future.
  12. Bill Clinton asked Monica Lewinsky if she'd like to see the Presidential clock. She of course replied yes. He unzipped and pulled it out and she said, "but that's not a clock". He said, "it will be when you put two hands and a face on it."
  13. Nottingham Forest have signed Sporting Lisbon striker Rodrigo Ribeiro on loan for the rest of the season. Riberio has taken the shirt number 370 at the City Ground.
  14. Don’t disagree, but shouldn’t we judge him on more than one training session?
  15. Thank you for the facts Roboto, but leafy Greenwich didn't really make the joke work too well.
  16. Lot of posters saying how happy he is. You would be too if you had left behind both war torn Gambia, and Cardiff.
  17. Seriously Bob, I am not sure where the fun is in that. In fact it looks like a call for radiclisation.
  18. It could be that of course. I think it more likely a cocktail of orgasmic release, heady optimism, utter delusion and partial relief.
  19. Really, has anyone heard of this bloke before, or seen him play. I am reading a lot on here about what wonderful news this is, and yet he has started 5 games in the last 2 seasons.
  20. Logic tells me we are going to f***-up, but I will continue to believe promotion this season is perfectly feasible until it isn’t.
  21. Looks like Forest might benefit from another new manager bounce.
