  1. I am going to take one for the team. Watched us live 9 or 10 times this season and only seen one victory; the scrappy win against Burton iirc. Even though I have nothing to do tonight, I will talk to the wife or watch Masterchef or PSG/Barca and hope we get the 3 points we need. I hope come 9.35 I can log on and learn we have the 3 points, whether through total football, Warneball or total shithousery. 3 points is a must. COYR!!!
  2. Regrettably, I can foresee this being wide awake. It’s this kind of game that has been our undoing a number of times in recent years. Time for a big performance from the boys. It doesn’t have to be pretty but we need 3 points from this game otherwise I can see a massive wobble being on the cards.
  3. 70 years is quite a long time in my book.
  4. Why? What do you think he might have in mind?
  5. He’s probably working out who he needs to get Rovrum up next season 🤪
  6. Are Leighton Orient one of them tribute football teams? I imagine a heavily moustached Peter Kitchen lookalike posing out on the wing.
  7. I had been hoping @Bris Vegas had been added to the Radio Derby Commentary Team. Life is one big disappointment at times.
  8. I think Bris has been very consistent this season that we will go up. He was saying it around November iirc.
  9. Still seems like a good point this morning. No, not the draw against Pompey. Bris’s viewpoint that we will struggle next season 😂 Lighten up you guys. It’s one Mexican’s opinion. No need for a stand-off.
  10. Dogged performance. Great point. Must take our A game to Wycombe. Up the Rams!
  11. Not watched a full game of the Rams for a while, so not sure what to expect. I fear we look a little exposed in midfield and at RB/LB based on what I know of Pompey. Hopefully, we can create a bit of magic upfront to make us competitive. COYR Rams!!
  12. I’ve just logged on to Now Darlo. It’s available.
  13. @David wishing you and Leanne the very best as you ride your emotional rollercoaster 👍🐑 My situation is nothing in comparison, but it has been a difficult 12 months for both of my kids (29 and 31) with messy relationship breakups (fortunately no kids themselves), and we also lost our dog late in February. We, the wife and I, are still coming to terms with that loss. I post this not for any reason other than to say I agree there is much more to life than football. I had fallen out of love with football many years ago, and I think after the emotion of the club being saved I personally found last season an anti-climax. This season has bizarrely been unexciting for me, even though we have been riding high in the league. This is perhaps down to my age, the finding of other interests, and spending a lot more time offering love and support to my kids as they ‘rebuild’. Whilst I wish they hadn’t had the difficulties they have experienced, selfishly (perhaps) I am pleased to have been able to spend more quality time with them, making it more evident than ever to me that family and friendships are more important than overpaid young men kicking a back of wind about 😉 I still keep an eye on the games via this forum, and online viewing, and if we go up I suspect I will be thrilled and celebrate as hard as most on here. However, where I suspect I differ to many now is if we do fail at the final hurdle I won’t be down or too disappointed. It’s only football after all.
  14. You guys who weren’t at Crawley in 2011 for our glorious third round FAC exit are clearly plastics. Terrible game, and my umbrella gave up the fight after only 15 minutes. Soggy prawn sandwiches are yuk.
  15. Great win and 3 points. All other results going our way too. Not even Derby can f*** it up from this point can we? Up the Rams!!
  16. He’s not the brightest apple in the barrel that’s true. He’s not the sharpest banana in the washing basket either. I’d go as far as to say that he’s one strawberry short of a biscuit tin.
  17. @Jourdan Sorry to put a dampener on your day, but your Carpet Right delivery has had a glitch. Tell the Mrs she will have the carpet now first thing Monday morning, but in better news she can have her underfelt tonight 👍
  18. I was in my armchair typing get rid of McClaren, as there was no way his 433 style of open attacking football would ever get us out of the Championship. I remember posting on the day, when he grinned down the camera lens with his big cheesy face, how the first sign of a big club interested in him again would turn his head. You guys need to heed what I say.
  19. The Stranglers gave me neck ache. Funny old world.
  20. I have no idea as to how we played, but looking at the stats on BBC it was a fantastic team effort to get a vital 3 points. Well done Paul Warne and the whole team. I will continue the drink fest I started in a few hours ago. I have a gig tonight but not sure I am going to make it 😊🍻🐑
  21. I can’t rely on you for a Wembley ticket can I.
  22. It says depends on your origin of birth in the manual.
  23. f***. I got the Bentley serviced yesterday thinking it would be cash on the day. Another weekend where I will have to find something else to do 🐏
