Nobody has seen him play regularly because he hasn't.
So when people say he's ready to play. On what basis are they knowing he is ready to play? Cos of a few pre season friendlies.

These are the only ones that see him every single day in training. They will know if he's ready or not.

Sounds like its a UEFA issue mainly as it looks like they have to register their squad for the 2 games so they will have registered him & wont be able to register his replacement for these games so they need him for both.

I’d like to guess that contracts have been signed subject to completing a medical. So nobody can usurp us and we’re protected by the medical clause
