Despite not being in the line-up! Derby put Brown down twice, which made us think Jordan was with them but he's on the first team bench.
Well done, Josh. If you want to impress the boss after training with the first team then keep scoring goals.

When the first team, U23s and U18s were all playing on the same day with our very stretched resources, I really feared for us. Brilliant from both teams of youngsters. A 3-3 draw with Man City with that U23 team showing such resilience is a stunning result in the circumstances.
The great thing is that these youngsters know there is a route to the first team open. If they impress, they will get their chance. Today there were seven academy graduates in the first team squad, four of them starting.
It's important for the Academy to be a continual production line rather than just giving us a one-off golden generation.

Steve Devine, who played a few games for us in the 80's. The two of them played together for a little bit at Hereford.

U18s lost 2-1 to Burton on Saturday.
Watching the higlights I'm suprised we only scored 1. Cybulski missed a penalty, we missed a few sitters, hit the woodwork twice, and the keeper pulled off a couple of top saves. Their goals coming from a FK and a deflected shot on the break.

At least when the league matches start we will get team announcements - and hopefully live streams as well.
I said something on twitter in response to an academy post about how easy it would be to allow social distancing for spectators at academy games and the academy admin liked my tweet so I am hopeful that it is at least being discussed.

Vaguely recognise him from many of the random non-league games I've attended. It would make sense as he's recently been 'let go' by Brentford.

Thanks Stu. It's really difficult to keep up with the academy stuff when you can't get to games and see them for yourself.
I do think we could get back to seeing Academy matches without too much hassle over social distancing (though of course more fans might attend when they can't see the first team.) I do miss them.

Left to right I think it's Harvey Randle - not sure - Cian Kelly Ciprani - Eli Christie - Alfie Roberts - not sure - Ola Ibrahim - not sure - Marko Borkovic.
The not sures are Charlie Rutt, Dylan Williams and Rhys Brailsford, I'm just not sure which is which.
