The thing is tho, most mid ranged android phones can run any app comfortably now and ever growing processors are just overkill and pretty much unnecessary...

I think we have reached a point where the hardware has outstripped software so buying a mega phone doesn't make as much sense as it did.

Hence the reason less people are buying new ones....their old phones still work and every phone looks pretty much like another.

True. Real world concerns are camera quality and internal storage.

Holding the settings key allow you to remap it to a comma.

Showing a 3rd party app highlights a major issue in that an iPhone out the box works, no need to go through different keyboards and all that.

You tried holding the full stop down?

It's great that iPhone comes out of the box how you like it but if you want to change It, what can you do?

These chains are great, they feel really comfortable.

Yes, I should have qualified it by saying something like "It's not my cup of tea". I had a 'flight board' yesterday. The other 3 beers were quaffed with gusto, but the 'Elvis Juice' had two sips and the rest was left. It set my teeth on edge and it took 3 or 4 mouthfuls of other stuff to remove the taste. Just too overpowering.

Sounds like it should be called Red Elvis juice.

Of all the jokes in the thread so far, this is by far the best ^^^

How long was the Edinburgh fringe? How many comedians attended? and finally how many shows did they put on?

And after all that the best joke was "I'm not a fan of the new pound coin, but then again, I hate all change". I am so pleased I decided not to waste my money.

Dave Gorman makes some good points about it here. You can't parcel comedy into discrete units, and you can't judge the gag without the context it was told in.

Michaella McCollum one of the two girls banged up for smuggling drugs in peru. Seems to be in the papers every other day, usually on a beach somewhere abroad with clearly staged photo's.

Ok she is an attractive girl but the fact she seems to be considered a bit of a celeb annoys me, latest picture cosying up with Jordan from big brother/ibiza weekender.

Rumours of book deals and you just know she will end up in one of the big brother/get me out of here type shows.

Obviously her new lifestyle is being funded somehow. Just dont think smuggling drugs should be a platform for anyone to have any sort of career. Not saying she shouldnt be given a chance, but doing a normal job and not gaining an advantage for an awful crime.

That's celebrity for the sake of celebrity. Made by the media because it's cheaper than paying a 'star'. I have never, never watched this reality gubbins and I've no idea why a 'youtuber' is even a thing.

I used to think that the likes of TOWIE and made in Chelsea weren't actually watched by anyone, but we're cheap tv fillers that were hyped beyond their actual popularity. Then I heard the airheads at work talking about the previous episodes and I just thought, you are what's wrong in the world. Tv sucks and it's your fault.

This was created on my part by my Manager with my skills etc. Kind of makes me feel proud. Unfortunately still doesn't get me the job I want. I guess I've only had 2 interviews but.. I don't know.

I'd say if you can turn the list into a narrative. Focus on what the business benefited from (turn it into a story how you worked with the company, your understanding of the business drivers, working to deliver the solutions they rely on). For example I'd change the "attended h&s meetings" to "worked with site h&s team to ensure safety protocols are followed" or "have a good understanding of site health and safety procedures and attended regular meetings to ensure blah blah blah". Just reshape it a bit. Also avoid jargon that doesn't translate away from your employer - the Leicester Leads report might be really important but you need to describe the end result and what you did to ensure it happened.

Hope that helps. Drop me a PM if you want my thoughts. I'm an IT manager and I've read loads of CVs and I would give you my honest thoughts, positive and "areas for improvement" :)

And don't get despondent after 2 goes. It takes time to get a good match, both as an employer and an employee.

Can whoever is paying the main commentator to use the phrase "master-blaster" to describe a shot at least once per game, please stop?

Only other use of this pseudo-word is in Ivor Biggun's "Bra Size 45", I believe.

Late? It started at 10pm in Perth!

Seriously though, let's all  give it a few weeks to sort itself out....It's only  managers we start whining about - and calling for changes -in the first few weeks...

If you've paid for a service you should expect to get that service. To charge for something that doesn't work is unacceptable, in my opinion

    User error I reckon.

There is a pesky bug which will be fixed on the next update which is the big one.

You can be browsing along when you're suddenly signed out, annoying right? I know.

When this happens do not try and log back in, just refresh your browser and abracadabra you're logged back in. (Might take a couple attempts)

This pesky bug mainly targets people that use multiple devices, although it has been known to tinker with one device users as well.

I do apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst browsing this glorious forum, the update which will fix this should hopefully be out in the next few weeks, whilst you wait I encourage all users to be vocal in their complaints to Boycie, it's all his fault.

Never had a problem. Could it be cough iPhone cough related?
