Fish face selfies. I have a friend who I thought was a nice 30 year old lady but she's started posting pics on Facebook of herself looking like she's a guppy.

Not so random, but the sheer number of negative topics which get started/found and posted in whenever we lose a game. 
Some fans are very quick to blame the whole team if we lose, but if we play well there's never any praise given out, it's always that other teams were poor or we were lucky. I despair.

True. There was a time when you never thought much about your body apart from 'is it clean' and 'is it dressed impressively'. Now it demands constant attention, popping pills, X-rays, cameras up and down, health screening, tooth ache, random stupid hairs to pluck out, eye tests, moisturiser. It's grim

The last 5 years for me have been all that and more but minus the hair plucking.

The fact that shops are only closed for one day! In a shop today the girl on the till said she's working till 6pm today and back again Boxing Day. It's mad, is a couple of days break too much for people!?

Weather forecasters making a big deal of possible 'overly wintry' weather. Such as low temperatures and snow.

I disagree with your good man on this example Angie. By stopping, I'm acknowledging I've seen someone waiting to cross, a courtesy if you like, an acknowledgement of that courtesy shouldn't be too much to ask should it ?
That said, I once held a door open for the person following me into a department store, it happened to be a lady who told me she was quite capable of opening a door for herself. 
The older I get,  the more I prefer the company of my dogs to some people. 

Idiots who park on blind bends when 30 yards either side would make things so much safer. They deserve to end up with their vehicle resembling a stock car at the end of a long competitive season. Prats!

What came to my mind with these ads, and there's been Sainsbury's, John Lewis,   Very, etc over the weekend, is that everyone I know watches commercial television on a delay so they can skip the ads anyway
