  1. I like him. I like his chatter. If he was my manager I would do a bit extra for him. I think those who don’t like what he says just have an entrenched dislike of him/his style of football.
  2. Not happy that they’ve gone up. I know they haven’t increased in years etc etc but that’s a lot of money for 2 adults on the sidelines.
  3. So he might as well train here I would have thought, rather than train with them and sit on their bench
  4. We tried it once, to a home game. We wanted to get on the Matlock train and it was cancelled. So a packed platform with disgruntled Derby fans then a crammed railcar running an hour late put me off ever doing it again. By the time we got home the dog was crossing his legs!
  5. It was! I’m as shocked as anyone by the emoji. Oops!
  6. I did, didn’t I? Oops! thanks for letting me know I’d been told off 😂
  7. Reiker are the best shoes. Always comfortable straight out of the box.
  8. I loved the humour of our fans. I can’t stand Steve Evans and ‘fat boy, fat boy what’s the score’ was funny. Loved the atmosphere today and the fans and team raised their game second half, it felt like one of those times when we all believed it was going to be ok.
  9. Now I’m old I see what some people write (or hear what they say) and think ‘hmm really’. Then I get on with my day. The burning desire to put them right has long gone.
  10. There’s a small army at the NHS looking out records for patient claims. It’s a wonder any clinician dare begin to treat anyone for fear of being sued
  11. The trouble with the NHS is that it is now expected to be everything to everyone. I really believe that there are lots of things that, if you want them, you pay for them. You keep taking more out than goes in and you get what you now have - impossible situation. And I work in the NHS.
  12. Like one of those they wear at basketball games in America, except this one has coffee in
  13. How come Burton can always fill their dressing room but we struggle
  14. Proper fed up about this abysmal showing. Shocking, we beat ourselves by being so utterly sloppy
  15. Sure I’ve said that before this season, more than once
  16. We’ve been winning when playing poorly. Tonight we’re doing the playing poorly and losing, which we deserve
  17. Hoping to see us pass to a Derby player at some point before the end of the game that was coming
  18. Surely the post Christmas collapse isn’t coming back this season
  19. Rivalry aside, I’m glad about this. I’m tired of hearing about misdemeanours by any club going unpunished.
  20. First thought ‘oh no, slump here we come’ and the pain of losing to Burton. Second thought ‘well done Paul’
  21. They turned up comfortable on the ball, faster, smoother, more confident etc. A bit annoyed we couldn’t hold on for the draw, but they were better than us today. Hey ho.
  22. My very own mild mannered brother calls him a rude name. But then my brother is not known for his love of touchy feely management styles. personally, I love it when I have a manager who portrays that they like me, they are genuinely interested in me and my life outside work. Managers who don’t acknowledge you have a life outside the day job are never going to get the best out of me. I like Paul Warne, as a person, I think he’s a decent guy.
  23. It was his birthday the day before I believe, so I think he was suffering from a food hangover, he looked a bit dopey in his interview
