I'm tempted, but it really ought to be the first drink of the evening. I'm currently 'enjoying' a joke bourbon supposedly flavoured - sorry, flavored - with 'peanut butter and jelly'. It's different, and not entirely unpleasant, but it would have been better to have left it as a bourbon and sold it with a sandwich.

Funny that because someone just mixed me a beer cocktail containing bourbon, not bad to be fair.

Anyone got any advice on dealing with difficult people or people who you have absolutely nothing in common with but have to spend time with?

If I have to work with people I don't share any common ground with I find it unbearable. The small talk can only get you so far.

I've left jobs because of this. Any advice anyone?

Difficult people or people who do and say things you don't agree with or are upset / offended by. In the past mainly I've just tried to avoid these types of people instead of really telling them what I think. I don't like upsetting the applecart. Similarly I take criticism personally and often get annoyed.

Imagine how the Police feel ?

Take your fancy words, and sit in the naughty corner and think about what you've done, on a beer thread anorl!

The googling was easy enough, but it's taken me 5 minutes to spell naughty thanks to autocorrect, 10 if you include the second attempt!

Sadly it's all pc these days, you just cannot say tramps piss.

  9. Not beer but here we go, found a cherry bakewell vodka by Heston Blumenthal at Waitrose down from £26 to £18.99, so thinking sounds a bargain for Christmas, the guy on the till is struggling to get the security device off the bottle top, gives it a big tug, foil tears and cap comes out, bloke starts apologising says I'll get you another sir, so I said don't worry just discount this one, £5 alright for you sir? Happy days £26 bottle for a fiver

Nice beer but what is that strange black thing with the orange flickering thing inside it.....? Is that an AC unit...? Got to go, the pool needs cleaning.
