  1. They could get around that last problem by actually implanting the tracker to the precise centre of the player's body. A bit like A fantastic voyage, but without the "4 men and a beautiful girl"... https://www.google.com/search?q=fantastic+voyage+film&source=lmns&tbm=vid&bih=742&biw=1536&hl=en-GB&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjqlubylNSFAxXKTaQEHbYBDNAQ0pQJKAF6BAgBEAQ#fpstate=ive&vld=cid:27e70649,vid:dO5E4wkg0hA,st:0
  2. Sorry mate, was miles away... What did yer say?
  3. They've beaten you to it...
  4. Just seen the neville reaction... was gonna post similar thoughts on these so-called "options" that florets are apparently considering. I'm assuming there's also an option to resign/withdraw themselves from the EPL with immediate effect? Regardless of my own allegiances, I would stand shoulder to shoulder with red dogs world wide, if this is the stance they wish to take. Bring it on, brothers! That'll learn 'em!
  5. Was just about to post similar… and I don’t apologise for laughing about it… But neither am I ashamed to admit he’s been in my thoughts rather a lot this past couple of weeks, and I’m pretty damn well gutted that he’s missing it all. All quite disturbing really, seeing as I never even met him! Soppy or just weird I know not, but I’ll be giving him more than a passing thought next week. That I do know! 🐏❤️
  6. I think he tried wagging his finger at them, but that was clearly never going to suffice In hindsight, It’s as clear as day that he should also have peeped on his whistle a couple of times!
  7. Ha! That was my immediate thought when I first read the thread title yesterday... but I got waylaid, and totally forgot to come back and tek the pi55! 🤣
  8. Why TF did I just laugh at that? Sicko! 😲
  9. Totally agree. This game is to Carlisle fans what Blackpool was to us... and look what a highly enjoyable day that was, despite the circumstances! We do not want to see them jumping around the away end, celebrating their relegation with a last day bonus win, on their big day out!
  10. The problem with offering opponents the opportunity to take a draw is that football is full of cheats, and nobody can be trusted. No disrespect to Carlisle specifically, or indeed their much respected manager, but they'd probably nick a winner in the dying moments, then point and laugh at us! Kill em off early I say. Win, win, and thrice win!
  11. 15s is not to be sniffed at though mate. That was a week's wage back in the day! EDIT: Oh sorry... thought you said you put a tanner on Bolton! 😉
  12. I don't know anything about this, and refuse to comment further without my solicitor present.
  13. You youngsters are in for the time of your lives. There'll be no end of folk sending out an awful lot of live Rams related tweets, messages, and insta's next week, that's for sure. PPS will literally be buzzin'! Keep those 'phones charged up, folks! 👀 Oh... Happy birthday @Ellafella 🍻
  14. He'll never achieve owt by staying young!
  15. Allow me... if you will... to hark back to times of old... The very first attendance by this then 12 year old boy at the BBG. Spookily, it was v Carlisle, and spookily v.2, it was the final game of the season. Yeah, ok, the game was rubbish. Yeak, ok, I didn't witness any goals, and yeah ok, the players appeared to be a tad tipsy on the day. But what a classy bunch of players they were. Crisp white uniform tops, looking as resplendent as anything the US Navy could aspire to, hoisting and tossing the shiniest, and most coveted trophy around, for all to see, all to share, all to be proud of, and all to rejoice in, as one massive "in it together" football family. ... And not a pitch invasion in sight! Classy players. Classy fans. Classy Football Club! I repeat... this was the first game of my Derby County supporting career. I could have easily walked away, as there was no tie. That day, or any day since, I could have headed off and simply changed my shirt. (Red was very popular for the following few decades!) But this was the day that made me think "Yeah. I can stick with this for the rest of my life. Once a Ram, always a Ram. I'm in" The classiness of that day had not passed me by. I was in. I was hooked. 🐏 We'll be celebrating the 50th anniversary of this, next season. Shall we invade the pitch after every home game to mark the occasion? 👀
  16. Great idea... although we'll need some form of headgear to go with it. If only somebody could come up with a suitable suggestion...
  17. No mate. New rules... It's gone to a replay back at ours a week on Monday. Winners will be away with the fairies.
  18. According to the internet, he was only 1.7 furlongs out. For missing the target from there, he wants bloody shooting!
  19. Dear Mr warne, I would just like to offer my sincere gratitude for your part is what has proven to be a most memorable season. Even through those harshest of winter evenings, and unlike any winter before, not once have I considered staying at home in front of the fire, and foregoing the opportunity to traipse to to the game at Pride Park. And that is all down to you, good sir. ... I just wished I'd tried Bobble hats sooner! 👀
  20. Imps to beat Pompey. Oxford to win at Exeter. Both finish on 77 Cobblers to snatch a draw at Barnsley... who end on 76, and drop out of the PO zone! Carlsberg, anyone? 🍻
  21. Must admit, I was dreading it all getting settled today. Next week's game would have been such an anti-climax! Who wants to get promoted early? Ooh no, thank you very much. Now we have something to look forward to. We have hope, expectation, excitement, anticipation, and lots and lots of laundry! 👀 I've ordered some beta-blockers, and checked out where the nearest heart-zapping machine is (To PPS). I'm buzzing. What a week to be al
  22. Right, let's scrap the next 6 days off the calendar, and just get this next effin' week over and done with!
