I would put Parry, Gibson and Morris on equal footing.
If Derby die all three have contributed to it. While Morris is the root cause, he's done it out of stupidity and thinking he's cleverer than every one else.
Parry and Gibson have done it out of spite.

So Mels offering a ground worth £81 mill for £20 mill. He is giving away £61 million and CK and Ashley don’t want it ? What a generous bloke Mel is!

So why has nobody bought Mels over priced train set?  Been up for sale for a couple of years.....  Because nobody is going to fork our for a vastly overpriced club....  Not me thats the clown!
I agree owners go into football knowing they are likely yo have to bank roll thier clubs.  It doesnt mean they are prepared to pay rediculous money to start with.
Kirchner is not going to complete this deal, unless he's gifted tge ground, or a local consortium purchase it and allow hi. to use it for a peppercorn rent....  Im surpised Q have been stupid enough to give CK till Sat with extended exclusivity, they should be looking at all offers.

Rich people do not get rich by paying well over tge market value for anything, let alone a football club...

Agree with this ...how is MA getting stick for not paying over the odds for a football club ? I will have a small wager that his valuation is not far off what its worth...something is only worth the value of what someone is willing to pay MA did not rack up this debt and I don't remember him putting St james Park at risk by selling it off or getting loans he could'nt afford against it
CK would be my option but without the ground is a no go and think we are starting to see that is how it is...so MA buying us for whatever  price he pays if he is succesful  is unfortunately what it is worth......
If you had 300k in your account to buy a house and it was only valued at 200k...would you expect to have to pay more just because you have it?
make no bones about it...if MA gets us at the price he thinks is right he WILL not lose money on us and will turn us into an elite club eg prem league at some stage to maximise that.....does anyone think he'd buy us with a view to see us ticking along in league 1?

If CK walks as he's unwilling/unable to meet the full price including the stadium, then all bets are off for the non-stadium element and MA can offer whatever he wants as the only bidder at the table.....

The crucial issue is still the stadium sale - the club is worth bugger all without the ground....
CK seems to be happy to overpay for the club to let us start next season in a reasonable state (which never made sense to me), but hasn't found a way to get his hands on the ground. Why this is is currently unclear:
does CK have sufficient funds to buy both the club and the ground? - if not, highly worrying.... is CK simply refusing to pay what Morris wants? or is Morris refusing to drop his asking price as he doesn't want to lose any further money? is Morris simply refusing to sell to CK following the Twitter comments? Did CK think by agreeing the deal for the club, Morris would play ball regarding the ground? (as he had indicated previously) and has now found that not to be the case? Has Morris got a price agreed with MA for the ground that it higher than CK (or the Council/3rd party) is willing to pay? My gut feel is that the whole club including the ground is probably worth less than £30M - unfortunately with Morris demanding £20M+ for the ground, that doesn't get us out of admin in an 'acceptable' way. Unless Morris simply hands over the ground and takes the additional loss, I simply can't see a way forward that doesn't involve further sanctions or liquidation....

I'm struggling to understand as to why MM holding out for better deal on the stadium and some extra dosh. If the stadium is the sticking point for the deal being completed and we do get liquidated, that money will pail in comparison to the damage done to MM's already embattled reputation. He will, quite litterally, go down in football history as the man who single-handedly destroyed Derby.

RAM1966 got a reaction from jimtastic56 in The Administration Thread
He's then paying more than the club is worth.  Hes already podding out about £35m, that price should really include the ground, the club simply isn't viable, its insolvent and had it been a normal business it would have been liquidated back in Sep.  Taking out a mortgage on the ground still means CK has paid well over the market value.
My bet is CK this morning offered Mel £1 for the ground stating with the other debts, thats a fair offer to clean up Morris's mess.
Sadly Morris is deluded and Im afraid our new owner, if we are lucky will be Ashley post liquidation and we will start as a Pheonix club and lose all our honours..... ?

And yet who could have sorted that out earlier? Mel.
Not to belittle the impact that parasite Gibson has had on this mess of course. But Mel sorted it pretty quickly when he talked to Gibson. If he’d have done that earlier, maybe we wouldn’t be where we are now. And, ironically, he might have got his full 20m for the ground. But no, his ego prevented him from doing it.
