It was awful, only scored 3 goals, only 66% possession, just the 19 shots, making only 478 passes to their 250, as for Warne, he made them water the  pitch at HT that led to their equaliser as it made a player slip.
 
And he should have taken the number 4 off much earlier, a fluke he scored, was a cross I tell you.

The posters who have to keep trying to prove they were correct Warne is no good, even the one who openly admitted to hating him, all ready to pile on when things go slightly wrong.
Fair play to them for keep trying though. They've been doing it for the last 12 league games now, of which we failed to win twice.
Warne's subs are hopeless. Our midfield is always been overrun. All Warnes transfers are rubbish. Warne's in game management is no good. Yet somehow, incredibly, we have 31 points from 36 available, our best run since? 95-96 perhaps?
Can't you just enjoy the results and accept you were wrong? Enjoy us scoring goals for fun maybe? Ask how Warne has turned us into this lethal attacking unit maybe?

I don't think that is quite right. The business plan is also a way to make sure that clubs don't get an unfair advantage from administration. Imagine a rich new owner takes over a club, buying them out of administration for a low price that pays creditors only 25p in the pound. Not many would think it fair if he then spent £50 million on new players - when he could, if he wanted, have used that £50m to pay creditors more of what they were owed. I think that's a key reason why EFL business plans last longer than a year.

Or….and hear me out on this one…. We are still subject to the business plan which was presented to the EFL for approval and probably doesn’t have the greatest amount of wiggle room until the end of the 2024 season.
The club went into administration, came close to extinction, was saved and as part of that recovery process has to be ran sensibly, according to what is likely to be a conservative business plan that safeguards the club against reckless spending. There’ll be a budget, wages, fees, agents costs etc, and we’ll have to stick to it as the club said they would. 

Or we’re doing what many think we should and Warne said we would which is sending youngsters out on loan for game time to aid in their development.
 

Agree on the manager thing but Ipswich when I watched the home game were above and beyond better than us and I wasn’t surprised to see them up there in the championship 

With how close we are to the top 2 and with this potentially being the easiest league 1 to get out of for many a year, Clowes would be a plonker not to back his manager on this occasion.
Promotion to the Championship with a fairly clean bill of health financially and an almost clean slate FFP wise would see us be a very attractive proposition for investors and buyers.
I'm sure he knows this and is happy to fund signings.
I'd imagine we have our targets and we are just waiting for Paul to speak to their ex teachers, doctors and neighbours to ensure they are nice people before we sign them.

Superstition is ridiculous and will play no part in our season, touch wood.

Important but not the only consideration.  Opponents tend to double or treble up on him leaving spaces elsewhere.  He is also exciting which is something lacking in the rest of the team.  For me above average league 1 player and the more we have of these the better our chances

Is it not worth judging them after a season ? Ward was for me one of our best players prior to his injury, Washington was as ok, others can't argue with, except Nyambe who I think has been a good signing.
His overall record, I would say is not to dissimilar to most who are building a team in the third division.

According to the inside source, a player that would demand a six figure fee was shown around the training ground Monday. Two days later, they have since revealed, players like Sibley and Smith would need to leave due to finances to fund deals.
It sounds to me, if correct, money is available to fund transfers, but we need to stay inside a salary budget.
 
No need to panic, I still expect a player to be through the doors very shortly 😏
