Derby 2 - Barnsley 1
Max Bird Brace

I think it will be a tough physical game and there will be a lot of contentious fouls/free kicks and they will try and play the referee and do everything to piss home fans off
They will probably play like we did away at Exeter staying compact and then trying to hit us on the run of play and bully us on set pieces and the onus will be on us to take the game to them and try and have some build up play which will have to be quick to get in behind them so probably be end to end, substitutes will be crucial around the hour mark
I predict going 1-0 up then for Stevenage to equalise second half and a last 10 minute winner for us, so.... 2-1 to The Rams
Collins will play and score and going for Nelson winner from a corner

Potentially without our best players tonight so it will be a toughie especially with the teams Exeter have turned over of late
Nymabe, Cashin, Adams, CBT potentially not in the starting XI. hopefully Warne gets the shape right tonight and we get some of those players back for Saturday against Stevenage 🐏

Exeter have beaten Barnsley, Peterborough, Bristol rovers and Wigan recently... going to be a tough away game. Probably will need at least 2 goals

There's a permananet pot, a loan pot, and a sack the manager pot. The first 2 pots were agreed with the EFL and cannot be exceeded. The EFL don't care about the third pot.
When everyone's talks about the "pots" it just reminds me of this 🤣🤣🤣🤣

With the addition of a new winger hopefully adding threat now down both flanks and a new potential holding midfielder to free up bird and hourihane, I think the plan going forward will go to a 4-3-3
With Washington and Waghorn set to return in February they will add the ability to keep it fresh up top if they stay fit
Wilson and Sibley maybe play big roles coming off the bench but I think we continue to struggle with our dip in form and carry it unto February until players and back and the new signings settle in and gel but we will have a strong March against the top teams and finish strong as I believe we have a easier run in and we will scrape 2nd place... just... by the skin of our teeth on the final day 🐏 ⚽️
Ideal starting XI (Currently)
Wildsmith
Nyambe Nelson Cashin Sibley
Adams
Hourihane Bird
NML CBT
Collins
- Sheff Ram, angieram, Caerphilly Ram and 1 other

I'd probably echo a change in formation like a few have mentioned already. Going with a 4-3-3 now we have CBT giving us deadly pace on the wings and having an extra midfielder in there. Can switch up to 3-5-2 if nothing is coming off
Wildsmith back in goal where he belongs
Captain as the quarter back and I put Thompson in there thought he showed great energy and needs a run of games under his belt. 2 midfielders can roam forward on attacks and one stays holding, supported by quite attacking fullbacks
Substitutes
Barks for any winger
Fornah for any midfielder
Wildsmith
Wilson Nelson Cashin Elder
Hourihane
Thompson Bird
NML CBT
Collins

is it me or can hourihane just not pass the ball very hard?

Why are people having a go at Vickers for the goal? Sure I want Wildsmith back in but he did nothing wrong there.
Why was our LF (Berks) in the middle of the pitch. As I type this he fails to put an easy cross in and gets dispossessed middle of the pitch.
Please to god take Berks off now.
He keeps parrying shots into danger areas and on the rebound he left the goal open by being nowhere near centre and he doesn't come out to catch crosses or commands his box very well

How many f****** offsides now!!!
-
Vickers just isn't good enough, why the f*** is wildsmith on the bench

Elder keeps giving too much space. Nelson and Cashin off the pace.
Barks non-existent. Collins offside constantly.
NML ineffective.
Scruffy AF so far.
Sounds like a match for our new signing 👀

Thompso looking fresh and energetic so far in his first start since the beginning of the season

I’m in. The universe is definitely telling me to go. Even the nice lady in the car park let me in without having to pay for parking. The universe wants me here for a reason. Hopefully ti witness something spectacular.
im not sure if my wife wants me here though. I’ve got radio silence from her. I’m not sure what reception I’m going to get when I rock up at 1am.
It won't matter when we are top of the league 😏

If Corey starts tomorrow it'll be exciting to watch us attack the wings with double barrels! 😉
CBT & NML 🙌🏻
Plus... if we win by 2 goals.. The Rams will be TOP OF THE LEAGUE
sounds good dunnit?

I agree about Barkhuizen but he is our 3rd top scorer to be fair
he has 5 goals and 6 assists which isn't too bad at all... we need more goals from midfield so CBT should help

With it being local would expect nearly 30K in attendance but being on sky perhaps both sets of supporters will watch it in the pub
-
Just think if we want to be automatically promoted we should beating these teams, we will have a much harder run in later in the season and this is a opportunity to get a winning run together and set us up to finish strong
Last year after January we fell off and the lack of signings was a factor in that
