Deserves credit for his effort. He's probably suffering the most out of all of us that things went so catastrophically wrong in his early season I'd think. Hope for his sake that he becomes more important to the team in the future. I would think he is fine with a slightly more defensive midfield in front of him. (However, it was awfully close that he scored an own goal against Charlton, so it is as usual small margins that apply in football's historiography).

Great fight, can't ask for more than that. Very important win after a few low quality games. COYR!

Up to Collins now to keep it up and stay injury free. Should hire a bodyguard and a cupbearer for what we saved in not bringing in a backup.

We have been one of the worst in the class at transfer windows for years (apart from the occasional window). I would argue that we need a total restart in terms of our strategy around transfers. How we have signed under Warne I would rate as even worse than our average year. We need to be able to develop players and sell them on to make the financial model work. As it stands now, we have to sell at a discount to finance high wages for underperforming so-called. experienced (old) quality players. It feels anything but sustainable for the future.

We have not been great att transfer windows for quite some time so might as well keep what little funds we have and try with the current squad. The risk with Gregory is that he will most probably end up injured after a few minutes and we are back at square one anyway.

We seem to be in a bad place right now and should consider ourselves lucky to collect 7 points from our last four games. That could actually have been maybe 1-2 points or something like that based on performance. Big challenge for Warne now to find the right starting eleven because as it looks right know we are in some trouble. I hope he can find a way out of this right now because otherwise we actually might find ourselves below top 6 within weeks. That's how bad I think we’re playing at the minute.

Can't single out only Warne for a performance like that. The players could not do the basics or even run at times. I am no Warne fan and would not mind if we got someone else in but except Thompson and Elder not one single player did even ok tonight. What has happened to Sibley? Ward? NML? How can we perform so so badly on an individual basis? Remarkable.

We are so poor tonight. But my god the ref is the worst I've seen in recent years. No only against us though so guess that's fair.

Well that was really sloppy from us. Made Reading look fast! Thompson doing the running for at least 3 of our older players.

When NML isn’t great we have trouble scoring. On to the next.

Great fighting spirit to go for it after a kick in the teeth but should'nt have had to really. Elder, Vickers and TJJ felt fragile. I think we need to find a few gems from the loan market. That could get us over the line this season if (big if) we get it right this time.

Well done NML, he can make some weird decisions but overall a great player for our level. Love how he works hard for the team and hopefully we can get someone in to share his job so he can rest a game when he needs to. Good news!

Our central midfield have some serious problems with their pace. Must bring Tommo on to challange them a bit. They can boss this otherwise! Also think NML look a bit off today. Would be a key to turn this around if he kick on from now on. COYR
