  1. *cough* spoilers *cough* TBH I barely watch any TV now-a-days, but I could watch Clarksons Farm every night. Growing up in the countryside as a youngster and messing around on my Grandparents farm, I love everything about farming. The trials and tribulations they endure and the personality they bring to the show makes it essential watching for me. Did you catch the sign on the Burger Stand? Something along the lines of 'you've seen season 2, now eat the cast' 😛
  2. Clarksons Farm Season 3 Another excellent year on the farm with Clarkson et al. If you enjoyed the previous seasons you'll enjoy this - lots of ups and downs with some moments of genuine happiness/sadness. With season 4 already being filmed we've got at least another one to look forwards to 🙂
  3. Not my pics (although these were taken last night) but being 'up norf' now-a-days the Northern Lights are a somewhat regular sight on my early morning/late evening dog walks on Saltburn beach 🙂
  4. Details here; https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13130980/efl-on-sky-sports-how-to-watch-your-championship-league-one-or-league-two-team-live-next-season
  5. Well I'm currently sat in a pub with my Brother-in-law, a Birmingham fan slowly picking away at his chips as he's just pushed his food away. Dunno whats up with him, I'm having a great time.
  6. This is a good one, the tears and sad music always cheer me up 😛
  7. Just paraphrasing what they talked about in the podcast, it was Darren Robinson and Kieran Maguire throwing the numbers around - and they already accounted for 22k season tickets. Interesting listen.
  8. I just put the following in the new investment thread, its probably worth posting again here as its relevant to the above; This Rams Daily podcast was really interesting, especially the 2nd half in which they discussed finances; https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0hv0gmg To summarise this season Derby had a wage bill of around £17m. The Championship average wage will is around £30m - so £13m more than we're currently paying. Next season our income will increase by approx £7-8m compared to what we have been getting in Lg1. So already thats a shortfall of £5m not including include any transfer fees etc. Given that a wage budget is typically a good indicator of league position and Derby under DC will be run sustainably, any outside investment is going to be crucial if we hope to cement our position in the Championship nevermind push on towards the play-off positions. We've got a lot of work to do this summer, with little room for error. *Furthermore and IIRC, they also said the average Championship club is losing £400k per week. Whilst we were a big fish in a small pond this season, financially unless we find some money down the back of the sofa we're gonna be up against it next season.

  10. Give them the goal and award the points accordingly. Oh nevermind, they would have still lost 😛
  11. I want to see the video of the Groundsman sat on the floor in the corner rocking back and forth crying...
  12. We need a good transfer window - some good oldies on frees, spend the money on youth. Do that for a few seasons and progress the club within its financial means. For me survival will be a good base to build from. Hopefully we can avoid any relegation concerns with half a dozen games to go.
