Big screens cost money to operate and not required at all.

Premiership requires a big screen in the ground - the only reason half the championship teams have one is a throw back to their premiership days and show team lists, content from the clubs player and adverts. Much cheaper to put an extra run of adverts around the pitch ( which has been done) to increase revenue

The only way well get a big screen is promotion.

I agree, however if we had a big screen, they could show a film or something that keeps us awake through the painful boring football that has been served up recently.

When I got my first ticket in my hands for Derby game I read the list of do's and dont's on the backside of the ticket. At the end of the list it says " The Club reserves the right to eject from the Stadium, any person who fails to comply with the Terms & Conditions of entry". So now all that is needed is to add the condition which requires everybody to give their best effort to support the club ( especially when the going gets tough) and be responsible of creating a good atmosphere. Yeah the pitch is fine, we don't live in Norway or Sweden, where the under soil heating would be uneffective.

Yakubu - we couldn't afford a Yak, never mind THE Yak!

Agree with the scoreboard, most premiership teams have a big screen where you can see replays etc. Everton, Bolton and Arsenal do from the stadiums I've been to.

In sure I heard somewhere that we would have a big screen installed for the start of next season

i wander some day if we might have a closed roof so when games against the red scum, do not get called off as know they mean everything to us but could also make and break a season, or make you lose your promation push which did us.

How did it make us lose our promotion push?

We won the game which was postponed

Ha ha ha, yep Americans can handle their drink 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

In all seriousness, it's hard to actually compare who can handle their booze better. Americans have different tastes in there alcoholic beverages than do you English. Especially in beer, where is near on impossible to compare the two because of those differences.

I may have to take that challenge 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Someday I'll make my way across the pond to take in the Mighty Rams in person and you can have your shot. You'd be the 2nd to get drank under the table. 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

I start under the table - less distance to fall 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Oh just so there is no confusion, we'll just stick to Bourbon.
