Brian Stock's contracts up in summer.

If Soton don't get promotes then Lallana but doubt we'd afford him as he had a new contract in Jan.

Stevie Howard could still do a job for us as could Mat Oakley.

If we treat Ayala right, his club have a number of players I'd like to se Pacheco, Ince and Saric to name a couple, doubt we'd ever be allowed Shelvey or Spearing.

Just hope we dont piss of any more clubs and their loan players, as we seam to have.

Any evidence for that last sentence?

Fabio Borini - Young striker with potential. Would have had half a season at this level with Swansea. Scored twice against Forest on Saturday.

Apparently out of contract at end of the season.

Sounds like he's off to Swansea tho

Fabio Borini will leave Chelsea to join Swansea on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

The Italian striker, who turns 20 this week, moved to the Championship club last week and scored two goals on his debut as Swansea beat Nottingham Forest.

Borini has failed to make the grade at Chelsea and his contract at Stamford Bridge is up in the summer.

Swansea have secured the youngster on loan until the end of the season and Borini will leave Chelsea when his contract expires, with the Welsh club expected to land him.

TBH We do need a CB for next season.

Why?

  • Ayala will be going back to Liverpool and will probably be at a lower end premiership team next season
  • Seems as Leacock is no longer in Clough's plans?
  • Russell Anderson has been injured all season so we can't rely on him next season, but tbf when he has played our defence has looked good.
  • Barker will undergo surgery so may be out for the start of the season again.
  • Nigel may now see Addison as a Central Defensive Midfielder.
  • Jake Buxton has not signed a new contract and is to slow but is good back up.

This Gary MacKenzie guy has a good physical presence at 6ft 3 but are you judging him on one game? I have never seen him but he might be good.

    Full name Gary MacKenzie
    Date of birth October 15, 1985 (1985-10-15) (age 25)
    Place of birth Lanark, Scotland
    Height 1.91 m (6 ft 3 in)
    Playing position Defender
    Club information
    Current club Milton Keynes Dons
    Number 5
    Senior career*
    Years Team Apps† (Gls)†
    2004–2006 Rangers 2 (0)
    2006–2010 Dundee 97 (2)
    2010– Milton Keynes Dons 17 (0)

    Other options

    • Ben Turner of Coventry, 6ft 4 scored against us this season, very good in the air and won MOTM award. Everytime I have seen him he has looked good.
    • Andre Bikey of Burnley? Wages would probably be a problem
      Who else?
