Leeds Ram Posted November 29, 2011 Share Posted November 29, 2011 Two poor teams on a bad run of form, brighton are a poor mans swansea simple as we needed to win this, first half we played well without scoring, for their goal roberts was well out of position. Second half we were poor, slow tempo, misplaced passes and no drive, they had a couple of chances and could have made it 2 or 3, we put the pressure on in the last 10 but it wasn't enough, bennett missed a sitter and i feel that if cywka or maguire had been on the pitch they would have put the ball in the net. When we pressured their back line they gave it away, we didn't pressure often enough. The ref was poor but no game changing decisions so we can't blame him. Bizarre decision by clough to bring priskin off which made many utter and cause discontent. The simple truth is this brighton team is a poor one, they are on a poor run of form of 2 wins in 11 i think, we lost at home to this team. Questions have to be asked about clough, he should now leave the club while there is still good will, 5 defeats on the spin, 1 win in 11 time is running out for nigel and his rag bag backroom staff.
