She wrote to the Beckhams to ask for a signed shirt. Posh herself rang back, asked all about it, and offered the whole amount needed on condition that it never got in the press. Posh then rang a few months later to ask how the girl was getting on. I doubt if this is the only example. Ok, so they can afford it - there are a lot of people in positions to help but they don't do it,or only do it with press and tv cameras present!
