p.shilton
Bored of this now, Christ, what are the arguments going to be like when the season actually starts? Kevin did well tonight and will hopefully be starting on Saturday. I have listened to his strangely long interview on BBC and seems humble, focussed and grateful to be here. That is all we can ask of the lad and I wish him well (enough to keep Roberts out of the team at least).
EdinburghRam
On the subject of Kilbane, I like him, good player, something to prove. Best back five in the league

Val
Give the man a chance, he's played 2 games, I do not think that he has played badly, so much so that we have remarked that Roberts may not get back in. COYR
Alex W
He looked poor yesterday though I thought he was decent. Not sure if he's fit enough to be attacking, but he stopped Carr often enough, unfortunately we seem to leave alot of pressure on our left back, we don't cover that space infront of them quick enough. WorksopRam
Did ok for his first game, I thought. Nothing better than Roberts towered the end of last season though. Pretty solid defensively, offered little attacking-wise but that's ok with me. I think he'll get better.

I know Ben Davies can cross the ball well and good dead ball specialist. However defensively and tackling wise still lot to learn. I honestly think that Maguire was carrying a knock and did not tak epart because he got crunched two or three times in last 15mins against Villa. For me against Shrewsbury I would like to see Ward Bryson and Croft in the three with Maguire and Davies up front and Hendricks in DM to rest Bailey and let him have 30 mins. We know Ward can play that position and support the left back as he helped Roberts out in the second half of the season. Crft playig RB in preseason has helped him to support Bryaford hence attacking the left wing. B Davies got pulled into the middle too much. In respect of Cywka he is has the potnetial to become a great player but watching him on Wednesdayagainst Villa he is a player who runs in blind allies and takes one or two touches too many before looking for a pass. If he could sort that out wouldbe on the team sheet for me. He needs to learn and learn quickly.
Derby_Dave
Anyway, why has it take 7 whole months to not find a LB since Moxey left? Is this honestly the best we can find? Maybe.
Ambitious
He looked poor yesterday though Really? I thought he did well, well I say he did well I mean he didn't do anything ridiculous and have our defence stretched and with him there we kept our shape pretty well. You could argue it was his fault for the goal, but I thought the movement from Davies for the header was impressive and Kilbane got caught cold. 6/10 for me, that will do me. RotherhamRam
I think and Hendrick and Ward are both away with their respective Irish squads Stupid friendlies but the next game that trio with the two up front and bailey in the middle with Hendricks coming on for the last 20-
davenportram
It may have took us 7 months to find a left back, but Forest are still looking and it's their third season without one for them
p.shilton
Looked **** again tonight. It took him moving into the middle and Roberts coming on to sure up the wing- Ainsworth murdered Kilbane all night

p.shilton
Well, I hate to say it but if Roberts is even half way fit Kilbane shouldn't be anywhere near the team- and I think Roberts is w*nk!
Ambitious
I can't understand how anyone can say he was **** on saturday, he was better than Brayford in that game, can we send Brayford back for being ****? oh, yeah.. he is one of our best players, silly me. but then again it's idiots like me that think we should give players time to show what they can do, when really we should sell them at the first sight of a poor game, that's what reasonable people do, isn't it?
