Even at the point of a bare subs bench and no cover in critical positions? We saw at the first part of the season with a fit squad and the top scorers still here what we could do. I think Nige deserves some credit for that, people on here were loving him then but refuse to acknowledge the problems that were not his fault since.

When will we give up on Clough?

Surely as soon as the first pass goes astray against Birmingham.......

The sad part of this is that for some people it will probably be true.

Not just astray.

If the pass is sideways or backwards too.

Do we really think the signings before this summer were Clough's first choices? It was obviously dictated by budget. I think he has just happy enough to have enough players on the pitch.

What ? none of his previous signings, or just the ones that did not work out ?

In fairness their wage all together probably doesn't cover Albrechtsen or Savage.

Is that really the best you can do? Croft was wanted by loads of other championship clubs and most of us were pretty happy with the signing. Hindsight's wonderful, but on paper he was a good signing. Porter looked good until he got injured, as did Anderson - maybe you think Clough should have used his crystal ball to predict that they would get inured? Pringle and Deeney cost us almost nothing, and didn't let the club down when they played. Martin was a gamble that hasn't worked out because of the change in formation. Boulding was bought in to help the reserves out and has done that job. Moxey was the messiah as soon as he was sold, but as soon as someone else wants to prove a different point, he's dreadful. Weird that. The majority of those loan players did fine here - Moore, Hunt, Martin, Stoor etc played pretty well. The others were all pretty much very short term loans - Noble played 20 minutes and looked good for example - is that really worth moaning over?

hunt played well? if anyone can justify the signing of michael boulding then they have something seriously wrong, he was bought in for back up for some reason. Moore to me wasn't much good compared to kuqi, deeney didn't let the club down, you mean like he didn't get sent off :p martin was signed on the basis he played well against us and that was pointless, same with pringle. Croft didn't work out because he wasn't good enough simple as, still better than ben davies, also if all these players were so great why did we finish 19th and 14th when we were 3 points away from 20th in the 14th season? why haven't we finished in the top half if our players and manager are so good? or is it that they aren't good enough?

Boulding was never really signed was he, cost us nothing so who cares. The Deeney sending of was comparable to just about any other keeper in this division, bit of a lame argument much like all your posts. Croft had a good start but lost confidence, Martin had a few good games but maybe Clough had a change of mind? Wouldnt be the first manager to do that would he.

Why haven't we finished top half? Paper thin squad and limited wage budget that doesn't allow Clough to sign crazy signings like Leicester, Cardiff, florist etc etc I know it's hard to grasp for you.

Using your trusted Wikipedia stats

Kuqi: 12 games, 2 goals

Moore: 13 games, 4 goals

:p
