Poynton ram
Didn’t realise he was still playing. 35 now but thought he was decent on his day. RadioactiveWaste
GB SPORTS
Yes at Monterey Bay as well, a beautiful place to play in the world, lucky man.
Scott129
A very classy footballer. Remember when we had Russell, Ward, Bamford, and Dawkins competing for two winger slots either side of Martin? Those were the days! RadioactiveWaste
RadioactiveWaste
Quite underrated in that team I thought, skillful but less headline news than other wide forwards, certainly played his part. sage and Magicman 1
InstaRam
Very seldom lost the ball which was excactly what that team needed. Some lack of end product maybe but still a bit underrated. Always felt "safe" to see his name in the starting 11 back in those days! Edited January 6, 2023 by InstaRam RadioactiveWaste

Carl Sagan
Such an unusual career. He was relatively old when he came to us, but had hardly played any games. Then he hadn't played for three years until moving to Monterey Bay less than a couple of years ago to hook up with his old San Jose coach who started a new "expansionist" team in February 2021, playing in the American (regionalized) second tier. I expect he'll end up coaching in America. Technically very gifted (hence he hung around some top teams for a long time) but never had the cutting edge for me. jono
Liked Dawks a lot. Bit of crazy gang about him, always full on effort, tried stuff that didn’t always come off but when it did he was a game changer, the one who unlocked a door with a bit of magic. Good teams need a Dawkins
DavesaRam
He was very talented and had a bit of a Rolls Royce quality about him, and he ran with the ball like he was having a love affair with it. His lack of end product was partly because he was rather unlucky, hitting the post for Martin to get the tap in, which happened more than once. As with so many others he was wasted at Derby. He felt his best position was in the hole, but we played him wide left most of the time. He did stand in for Will Hughes in the hole and absolutely ran the match. His reward next match was to warm the bench!! ?? It was the Derby way!
