A number of pretty good sources have told us that LR was the strategic power behind the Rooney throne last season   ie it was LR’s style of play.
And what we’ve seen on the pitch this season supports that

Nope, they said LR had run most of the coaching sessions.  I don't doubt that Rooney set the style of play, picked the team and sent LR and the coaches out to work to his strategy.

Crikey. It seems only 10 minutes since this forum was overwhelmingly thanking David Clowes for stepping in and saving our club from liquidation. He made a decision to appoint Liam Rosenior as the interim manager, before deciding whether that was to be permanent or not. After considering the position approaching the quarter of the season stage, he has decided not to make Rosenior permanent but to bring Paul Warne in as head coach instead. This seems to have caused mass hysteria in some quarters of the fanbase tonight with several strong opinions about why Warne is not right for the job and that David Clowes has got it wrong.

It was David Clowes decision to save Derby County and his decision to appoint Warne as the head coach. Please see sense and allow the owner and Paul Warne the chance of taking this forward before making any judgement on whether the decision is right or wrong. We all owe both of them at least that.

Just reflect back to where we were 12 months ago tonight and where we are now and thank goodness for small mercies.

We need the unity from the fanbase that we have enjoyed for the past year, that us brought us through the fight for survival. We need to stick together.

Totally agree.  For what he paid to save the club, he could appoint Paul Jewell again and I think "fair enough; your money".

How can you use analogies such as  strategic power behind the throne, bit strong isn't it?

We hardly were Champions League contenders under that duo were we.

If you remember we only squeaked staying in the Championship on the final day the season before last before we got hit with the zillion points deduction.
