Broadly agree but in 2013/14 I'd shift the analaysis up the pitch a little.

It wasn't so much that our defence didn't leak chances, more that they were rarely actually tested. 

As you said, they had excellent protection directly in front of them in Eustace/Thorne but also further ahead you had Martin, Hughes & Dawkins all very effective at keeping the ball, taking the pressure off. 

We played such good stuff from back to front that opposition teams usually turned up not to play their own game and attack us, but to sit back, close down the space and get us on the counter.

Both on and off the ball there was very little pressure on our defence, but on the rare occasion there was... well let's not talk too much about that.
