Madsen & Fletcher put runs on the board but it always looked a struggle. Very disappointing.
Steve Buckley’s Dog
That was disappointing. As soon as Donald is out it just falls apart. Apart from one innings each, Patel and Whiteley have been disappointing with the bat for me. jimbo jones

jimbo jones Posted Sunday at 10:05 Share Posted Sunday at 10:05 Chappell with a wicket in the first over. Balla swinging, plenty of green on the surface, potential for a good game of cricket here… Hans Datdo-Dishes and RadioactiveWaste

jimbo jones Posted Sunday at 10:33 Share Posted Sunday at 10:33 Conners bowling as well as I've ever seen him bowl, really deserves a wicket.

I only started watching after lunch but he got a lot of swing and desrved more than 3 byes when he sung it past the batsman and wicket keeper. I'm so pleased to see DuPlooy get done by Thompson spinning it up the slope. jimbo jones

Moved his feet like he was playing T20 then got stuck and looked like a nervous opener playing the first test of the summer on a green wicket. Odd shot. The opening spells from Conners and Chappell were very good, only the one wicket from Chappell in the first over to show for it. Dal & DuPavillon came on and didn't bowl anywhere near as well and got a wicket a piece 😂 189-5 at tea, so far so good and Middlesex under pressure as they won the toss and chose to bat. jimbo jones Posted Sunday at 17:05 Share Posted Sunday at 17:05 Ryan Higgins dragging Middlesex up towards 300. Really good player is Higgins, could just do with nipping one out and wrapping the innings up quickly 😬🤞

Jimbo Ram Posted Sunday at 17:43 Share Posted Sunday at 17:43 We so often get down to the opposition lower order and then let them off the hook. So disappointing 🥲

jimbo jones Posted Monday at 16:47 Share Posted Monday at 16:47 Century for Luis Reece. A hundred partnership between Reece and Madsen, then a 50 partnership between Reece and Lamb. Donald now in with Reece. 240-4, still 193 behind. Reggie Greenwood
